Been a bit busy with my thesis (still throwing random words in it in the hopes that it'll gain some form of coherence soon) so haven't been updating the blog as often as I would like to. I've been spending some time trying to make the "Merdeka Madness" post as a header post but unfortunately everytime I try to do it I end up with the blog screwd up. My last attempt made all the post in the blog into the Merdeka Madness :P I hate HTML ..
Ok people go vote at the box at the side , let's give Chino our encouragement so far 2 people have voted for "Chino should come and have gay sex with me" .. remind me to NOT put up Chino's pictures online though. Wouldn't want people stalking him trying to get him to perform gay acts on them.
On another note , Chino . Please be careful. Most of the voters here are people who play DotA with you. When they vote for the "gay" option you should get worried. You wouldn't want someone to 'accidentally' put his hands between your legs when he thanks you for saving him from a DotA ambush. Lot's of things can happen in a game of DotA .....
Transformers : Galaxy Convoy has been the new IN thing in my life at the moment. It's so nostalgic that it brings back memories of watching Transformers when I was small. It's really good , a must see if you can find it. It is just so much fun to watch anime in the original Japanese language (with good English subs of course). Watching Transformers shouting " SUuuuPAaaaa Moooodeee" (Super Mode) or has never been so much fun. In any other dub of the anime the move " Hissatsu , Super Electric Lighting Shock Electric Thunder Cracker Punch !!" would just lose it's flair. I love the way that Japanese makes these weird names seem appropriate. Next time I should try shouting stuff like this when playing DotA ... "Ultimate Supa Pawa Shot-to !!!!" when using Kardell's Assasinate sounds like fun :P

This is the way Transformers should be. Never did understand why we find screaming out the names of super moves acceptable when done in Japanese. Like Street Fighter.
I figure its because the Japanese voice actors emote so well that you take it seriously. When they dub them into English, its usually done for a 5 year old audience so I guess they don't take it seriously.
I remember show like Voltron, where some of the characters die in the japanese version (the blue lion pilot), but they say that they just went back to earth in the english version. All because poor little white boys can't handle the concept of death?
A bit of a rant there at the end, I know :)
