Hamachi is nice
Watched a horror movie yesterday too. Hmmm, watching horror movies seems to be the new 'in' thing now. Well, unlike Adole, we watched it at home using Sai's 5.1 THX certified speakers .. compared to watching it in Malaysian theaters with babies crying and people discussing the movie, watching at home can be a more rewarding experience.

We watched Pulse, a standard horror movie. By the James rating the movie had a scary factor of "James can sleep alone after watching it" which translate roughly as "not so scary". The premise is quite simple, it seems that some sort of spirit like creatures are appearing through computers and WiFi to suck the soul out of people .. I don't want to spoil the movie for the others so you have to watch to figure out what they are and how to stop them.

All in all , the movie wasn't that great but if you are watching it at home then it's ok.

Tried out the Hamachi program to connect and make virtual networks to play DotA with. Worked like a charm :) .. it's very easy to use and not much hassle like pinging for IP addresses and advanced computer knowledge is not required. Anyone game for DotA ? Just get hamachi from www.hamachi.cc and install it then look us up in MSN and we'll give you the network password. One more advantage of using Hamachi is that it makes a virtual network so you can share files and access shared files. I am not sure how good transfer rates are but imagine having a network where we can all access each others shared folders, if we find the download speed slow we can just request for stuff to be burned onto DVD and then we can pass it during our DotA meets. This way we can avoid downloading files that others have already downloaded and concentrate on different stuffs. Sweet huh ?

(p/s : We play DotA around 8pm, anyone interested please msn (warlock80@hotmail.com) or sms me)

I am currently reading Death Note the manga ... it's been keeping me up past 4 am everyday so not much Final Fantasy going on at the moment. I've played for 100 hours and my chars are at level 55 , currently just entered Giruvegan for the first time. How are you guys doing ? Without spoilers, how far along the game am I ? If I'm too close to the ending I'll go and do other stuff first before I finish Giruvegan. I checked some of the character stats and guess what Fran has the suckiest stat gain of everyone T_T , of course it won't make that much of a difference but it is sad that everyones favourite character does not have any skills in which she is the best (Ashe and Penelo make the best mages - highest MAG gain). Tsk tsk tsk .. well I guess it's still ok cause when Fran is running around the last thing you'll look at would be the stats :P

Pathetic horror movie
Last nite, i went out solo (just feel like going out solo), marching my way to the cinema and nearly caught in an accident, lucky it's just a plastic lane divider that appeared from nowhere. should have been more careful. I was watching this pathetic Boo horror movie and it was really lousy, serve me right for not believing the review and preview. The actors and actresses dont even know how to act properly, their faces revealed all. Dun even see a drop of sweat even in critical moment eg. got chased by erm......zombie like thingie. They made lame jokes, jokes that i dun even consider jokes, just some deja vu on some movies or perhaps games. But some of the scenes are quite spine chilling. Just the acting is real bad that gives the movie away. Tonite perhaps i m going for another horror movie, Possessed. Going solo again, hahahah, enjoyable. prove of loneliness. Or maybe i just go to get some korean love story and cry my heart out. it's cheaper that way and i can rewatch the movie again. Korean movies are hilarious in the beginning and get very emotional in the ending.

about dotaing, i think tonite like last night time lo. can? ^^ i msn u guys lo. u guys play other maps like survival?

wheee
heya..
been away for quite a while..
my 5 day outing marathon has come to an end..

prom was fun.. well not as fun as we expected but definitelya good way to spend our last few days together... with all the dancing..we were sweating like barbarians after it was all over..
then me and the guys went to rest at a hotel room the guys had booked... then went out for a drink... dad came to fetch me at 2am..was nice =)

then on friday left for pangkor.. for a family hash annual gathering...
on the first day , the seniors went for their hash...and came home with leeches everywhere..
and me being the biggest chicken when it comes to leeches... *eeeeek*
the next day was our junior run..and my mom put salt all over my body... and i poured a load of salt water over my shoes.. *leech paranoia*
thank god i didnt get any of those parasitic blood suckers on me.. or i would have flipped and screamed the whole jungle down..
toward the end of the run i did notice a leech on my shoe.. and i saw my dad about 5 metres ahead of me..
so i desperately took off the shoe threw it toward my dad and he removed the leech for me.. mind you i was screaming like a baby..SEE , i told you i had leech phobia!
then that evening went on the Banana boat at the beach.. and halfway through the ride i fell off..in the middle of the sea.. NEXT TO A JELLYFISH... drama.. lots of drama... but im alive =P

on monday i was off to genting with a bunch of friends... was so much fun.. stayed at the themepark till 10pm..and got ourselves chased out by the security guards because we refused to leave before 10.. :)
then went for a walk at 2 in the morning.. was SO chilly but so nice..
then the next day we went to the wet park.. it was a wetpark with warm water.. just what we needed! spent about 2 hours there and before we left i decided to go on the slide one more time.. and i went on it a few times in all kinds of positions.. and on the last one , my toenail got stuck between the dividers and half my freakin nail came off... so painful i tell you!
now i have limp around and i have the plaster stuck to my toe..cos the blood has all dried up and i cant remove the plaster.. Arrrhhhh..

pics will come soon.. =)

Angry Caller
Streamyx had been nothing but a big jumble of problems stuck together with spit and glue. Well that is what you get if you contract your Internet provider to a bunch of shapeshifting demons. Well there is this really interesting recording of a "fuckin' pissed" guy calling Streamyx and complaining. Definitely worth the listen .. go on download it .. i know you want to ...

I'm gonna leave some space for you to stare at while downloading and pondering the ultimate answer to the universe (it's 42 by the way)

Man , though I understand why the guy is pissed I can't say I do about his racist attitude though. Have to hand it to the Streamyx Customer Support for keeping their cool, man I would have probably shouted back about how I know where he lives and I'll send some shapeshifting demons to rape him in his sleep (or Magnus) :P

Hypersensitivity
Last night, i leisurely watched this drama i have been watching since last wednesday. I m halfway through the drama and every events seems more interesting. Fighting scenes are more interesting also. Even so with the sad events revolving around the love between the hero and the heroin of the story. One thing i can tell u all is that, i CAN feel their pain and torments when the others try to break them up due to some reasons. It's just that i was overpowered by this feeling of pain and torments when watching the eps, no tears though. now to think back, i have watched similar animes like this, romance type which i dealt off with a shrug. To name a few, these animes are like Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, Midori no Hibi, Ai Yori Aoishi, latter parts in Love Hina etc. All these anime revolves around love story, and if i were to watch these animes back especially Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, i think i will be broken down phsycologically. I swear that i can feel the exact emotion as what they are feeling. Even back then, i can feel a little, but as for now, i m certain i can fully project or transport my mind to of theirs just like as if i was in their shoes.

Is hypersensitivity a bad thing? Or mayb i was just bored and i channel everything into my emotion sensor. haiya. Insensitive is another thing which i dont wan to be. But i m being hyper, wish there could be some Tranquilizer (remember FF7?) to settle me down.

Revenant wings
Only months after its initial release, Square Enix has announced a new addition to their latest hit, "Final Fantasy XII". Square Enix has not mentioned whether the game, titled "Final Fantasy XII - Revenant Wings", will take place after or before the events of "Final Fantasy XII", and generally very little is known about the story, gameplay or characters (Vaan and Ashe are confirmed to be included). It will be for the Nintendo DS and the game is being produced by "Final Fantasy XII" / SaGa series producer Akitoshi Kawazu, and created by largely the "Final Fantasy XIII" development team. No release date has been planned as of yet.

Looking for Lia Japanese Singer and accidently saw this. Think of posting it. Don't ask me why I looking for Lia though.

Pounds
OMC, i have gained few pounds since my picnic. Been eating and drinking blissfully without thinking about where the fat may have gone to. Now, i regretted my indulgence and the verdict, the compilation of fat. Been going out for supper far too many times compared to last time, where i can just get over my raging-stomach-hungry-for-something with a chinese tea peng for two. Well, i usually have somewhat quite heavy lunch (mee soup, and believe me, it's big, try counting the calories) and for breakfie, i have maggi mee or 2 slices of bread. No dinner, but take supper, which is not good. For supper, i often take taugeh kueh tiaw or sotong kangkung. Sometime ikan bakar. I m not the type that always let the food go to waste, and because of this, all the food go to waist. I dunno about everyone here, but for me, i remember vividly that when i was small and my parents in order to get us finish our rice, they will always use the same excuse. "if u leave rice on your plate, later when u grow up, ur wife will have pimples all over her face" or "if u leave the plate unfinished, u will have pimples on ur face when u grow up". I dunno how true it is, but since i usually cant finish my rice, now i got pimples on my face!! hmm..........*shrug*

I have one idea, remember when we study biology in the food ingestion topic? We must chew our food slowy so that the food can be broken down easily in our stomach and the nutriets will be more readily absorbed in our intestine. Here is the thing, what if we just gorge our food and swallow our food in bigger chunks? Wont that be good for dieters since less break down of food in stomach and less absorption in the intestine, meaning less compilation of the substance that causes fatness? Or even better, we rear tape worms in our stomach and keep their population under control with antibiotics or whatever so that they can consume our food. Or when u think u eat too much in barbeque, trying consuming some uncook food hoping that u get light diarhea the next day.

Just wan to writing something, that's all. probably wont be writting anything in the weekends. Have a nice weekends everyone!!

Reasons.....confessions........whatever.......
Ok, here i m again writing blog. Been doing report and played a bit of the detective game and i found myself writing up a post again. Actually, need to ease my mind a bit. I did this unnoticebly by the others of coz (otherwise my ear drums will get all fried up).

Confessions? I m a bit depressed financially actually. hahah, that could be one of the reasons i got depressed. My earnings can cover of my neccesities like food and transportation dues, but is always meager when it comes to hobbies. Hobbies like buying games and consoles machines. Ok, eating japanese food maybe out of the question when it comes to the middle of the month. Actually, my other dire need is playing DotA in cc, but once we get started, we will play for hours. In fact, we used to go to cc 3-4 times in a week. That burned a big hole in my wallet. We stopped for a while and now we are back, but slowed down. I love going outside to play DotA, my pc lags. That is one of the reason. Maybe i need to learn how to suck up and get a raise soon.

Another reason could be that my mum has turned into a control freak. Haha, almost with leash, but not that bad. Everytime i go out, often she will ask the all the W, as in where, who, when, blah blah blah. Even sometime when i go out and i have 1-2 hours free before my next plan, i m all lazy to go back home, i rather stay outside and waited, my ear drums cant take it. It's not just me, my brother and my sister also experience the same thing. To stay outside means need more $$$ and that means no saving for my PS3, depressing.........i can reach my house in 10 minutes time but i rather wait outside for 1-2 hours. Extra petrol and food and drinks. Considering taking up part time jobs, any suggestions? I m thinking of becoming a bartender or waiter (free eye washing) or become tutor in tuition school. Just wan to make some bucks to indulge myself.

repotto
It's the time of the year again. Reports, reports and more reports. But this year is a lot better compared to last year, since i have the templates for last years reports, everything should be done in no time. Just a few final touches and finalized the reports. So will be sitting in front of the computer all day long with internet connected. AND, the temptation to go online is too great to be ignored. Hence........the entry of this post...........sigh...............well, gotta get back to do report soon.

Ah, about FFXII, i m a bit lazy nowadays to level up, maybe i ask my fren to help me lv up, hahah. I like to lv in Giruvegan, the mana regen rate is so high and i just set all the gambits for my Fran, my strongest spellcaster, to fell all the monsters in sight. All i do is i walk around and Fran will do all the killing. This is so so so so so boring. I m letting myself some fresh air from gaming for the time being and revert back to my old interest, drama. I got this drama aeons ago, but i just started watching it yesterday, The Legend of Condor Heroes 2006. Quite good, but of course TVB version would proof to be a better piece of work. Not too shaby, especially with this leading actress Crystal Liu Yi Fei. Super Kawaii. I watch one of her other drama and found her very captivating, seductive, u name it. Of coz the power part, i mean the special effects are not as good as TVB produce, but it's ok. Worth watching. Haven't been downloading animes for ages also, need some time to search. I have nearly 100 eps of Bleach but i haven't watched a single eps, i haven't finish watching Disgaea anime, i haven't read the remaining One Piece manga (in Water City, i think that is the name of the city) because i dun wan to get depressed again, it is very sad there.........of speaking of going depressed, i think i m a bit over sensitive these few months lo, mayb change in hormones lv @@ ewww...........this is no good. I get depressed over the slightest sad events in games and movies, and i get over excited in goody goody and happy endings in both games and movies too. I think i have developed this so called Bipolar Disorder. What came over me these few months??? I m a freak now!!!

Ok, let's just digress from this depression thingy. Now, i just wan to go back and continue watching drama. Ah, anyone here play stickam? i have an account there, wanna chat in there. For the first 5 minutes in the game with webcam, a guy just suddenly sent me a private message and ask me whether i m a gay. U heard it, GAY. Friggin' guy, still intro me to soom other guys. I just thought, omc (oh my cock, rhymes with omg), what a mess i have created. There are also porn star wanabe (lady of coz), posing with doggy, or teddy bear, yea, she is webcam live, fully clothed (u wan to see them strip, u have to pay). A lot of perv in the room. Quite fun but if u just happen to enter the wrong room, u will hate this webbie for life. Arse display is common. Check out if any of you have the time.

Ok, back to work. This blog is like my little diary. Hope everyone will not get annoyed, hahaha. tell me if any of u do, i will slow down. ^^ not stop.

What i do nowadays
You've probably noticed that I haven't been posting as often as I have. Blame it all on Final Fantasy XII (FF XII) .. it is a monster which is slowly sucking away my life. My schedule for the past 2 and a half weeks has been :

1 . Wake up and find save point in FF XII before going to lab
2. Come back
3. Play FF XII
4. Stretch around
5. Play more FF XII
6. Dinner
7. Watch School Rumble !
8. Play Marvel : Ultimate Alliance multiplayer with the guys
9. Watch more School Rumble
10.Play more FFXII
11. Set alarm to wake up in the morning
12. Play until lose consciousness

Seriously, it's that good. Fighting Gilgamesh the Mysterious Swordsman is sooo damn funny, if you do pay close attention to all the cutscenes :P
Tried to play the detective game that Adole recommended. Pretty fun actually but I have a feeling that I'll get sick of it soon though, feels a bit repetative. Still it is still good for a few hours.

Now about the anime that the SanBaka (me, Siriuz and Sai) are watching, School Rumble ... well well where do I begin .. It is simply the funniest anime I've seen to date (and I've seen a lot). It is a high school romance comedy and one of the main thrust of the anime is the thrust on spoofing other animes. Unfortunately some of the jokes won't really be funny unless you have a good knowledge on other animes. For example, in Episode 1 when the characters are racing uphill on their bicycle the music suddenly change and an old year 86 sport car will be shown with "Fujiwara Tofu Delivery" written on it. The bicycle actually overtakes it. Not funny right ? Unless you've watched Initial D of course .. then you'll be rolling on the floor laughing. So far they have spoofed Initial D, Battle Royale and a slew of other animes. Don't worry though, the anime is very forgiving if you miss out on most of the suble jokes like the spoofs and wordplays there is still enough crude jokes to keep you laughing your lungs out. I give it an A ++ .. must watch !

I would write somemore but the day had me beat and I have to go to step 10 now and play more FF XII :)
I should be able to confirm the amount of players we have for DotA by tonight so stand by your phones for the magic "DotA is ON !" command. (Haven't been practicing since FF XII .. gonna sooo die .. crap)

Of friendships and socialising (a bit of Final Fantasy too)
Well another week of my life has been flushed down the tube. I suppose its a bit overly dramatic to say that, but I am starting to feel like I'm doing nothing with my life these days......AND LOVING IT!!!

See I spent the weekend locked up in my apartment playing video games, watching anime/movies and sufing the internet. The only time I went outside was to get food. I guess I'm either getting older or just getting sick of people in general. See the thing is that I'm suffering from a mildly similar problem as Adole with my friends in KL.

You see my core group of friends in KL basically stem from college buddies and buddies of college buddies. I don't hang out with co-workers because quite frankly they are (i) old, (ii) muslim (hey not to be prejudiced but there's just too many restrictions for me), and (iii) mothers who believe that the world wants to know all about how their kid(s) are that smartest/cutest/have special bottoms etc etc etc.

So my core friends are nice people and all, but ever since we've been out of college, all of us have grown apart. Everyone working and boring. Conversation topics are limited. Its always the same old boring drivel about how work sucks etc etc etc. These smae people never have time for even lunch or coffee after work. So everyone is basically in the office or back home in their parents houses. I've become extremely jaded about this and have grown extremely tired of trying to call people to do anything, its always busy with work, no time, who is coming, I'll try to make it or any number of excuses. Now I know its unfair and all, but I don't consider people I don't have regular interaction with to be friends.

So now I basically tend to just go home and play video games or watch TV. I used to feel really guilty about this. See I'm a gamer at heart. I love my video games, they're a hobby, an outlet, a huge source of entertainment. I'm not saying everybody should agree with this, but don't knock video games just because you don't play or understand the entertainment factor. I know I'm straying off topic, but isn't it odd how the idiots that are always dissing video games think its okay to park yourself in front of the TV to watch Astro, but actively participating in a story driven video game is weird to them.

But see I used to feel bad about staying home. I used to feel that I should be out doing stuff with people. Clubbing. Movies and such. But these days I'm all clubbed out, the nightclubs hold no fascination for me, they are boring, loud and filled with children or triad members. Its just well, going out with people here isn't fun anymore. On top of that I've become bitter and find most of them annoying and irritating with their petty and irrational concerns. I know, I'm turning into John Becker.

Work isn't satisfying. Just spent the better half of the morning in a meeting fantasising about summoning Belias to mess up everyone in the room. Still the work part is a non-issue for me really since I've stopped caring. I just come in to the office, do what I'm told to do and return to my cocoon of darkness. I actually do appreciate it though since it gives me the funds to finance my other habits.

In the end I guess its just that I'm happier being alone in KL. It doesn't sound like it based on the whining I just subjected you to, but I've come to appreciate the company of my own thoughts more than that of the people I seem to be subjected to most of the time. Seremban gang is excluded from this though, you are basically the some of the select few whose company I enjoy, be it DotA or our energetic discussions at the mamak on movies, politics and porno.
The plan has always been to move to the USA of course and the assumption is that once I'm there things will change and I'll be going out more, but the truth is I don't realy care. Of course I'm going there to be with my fiancee, but all this hanging with friends is growing old.
In essence I've come full circle at the middle of my life cycle. See when I was a little kid and through most of primary school, I would spend a lot of time on my own. Recess, the time before and after school, sitting on the stairs or watching ants. Its not that I was a social outcast, its just that that's what I wanted to do. Later I started hanging out with people more, especially in highschool. Movies, the cybercafe, shopping malls. This went on and increased in intensity at college. Trips to Coffee Bean, nightclubs, going to resorts and all manner of fun things. It was a great ride while it lasted.

I do know that if I wanted to do this all again I could. What worries me is that I don't want to. I don't want to go out anymore. I don't want to go to movies. I don't want to go clubbing. Is this a horrible thing? I wonder sometimes if I'll regret this as I age, but I just don't feel it. I like a nice simple meeting of us in Seremban for Dota and mamak or the occasional movie, but I think I could probably do just fine without that as well.

What do you guys think? Is my current attitude a horrible one? Should I force myself to change my orientation towards socialising?

Well that's my little rant for the day.

I saw "Casino Royale" and it was actually pretty good. You will all like it so go take a look see. "Happy Feet" is supposed to be good to, but not cinema worthy since its not an action flick.
I've also been watching this anime series called "Trinity Blood" its about vampires and humans having a war and the main character is a "kruznik" a creature that drinks the blood of vampires. Its cool, but the episodes tend to move to slowly. It helps me get over the filler episodes of "Naruto". Let me know if you guys wanna watch it and I'll burn a DVD.

I've gotten until Mt. Bur Omisance in FF12 already while managing to net some super high level armor in Bartheim, although I just cannot kill Zaleras (Esper angel of death) before the time limit runs out. I hate having only my swamiji (Belias) he gets pwnd by all the high level monsters, still its fun to summon him once in awhile. I tried going for Andramalech the thunder dragon but he pwnd me too. I HATE flying creatures!!!!! especially since I never used Balthier so he's still at level 23. So I can't get new espers yet. I guess I'll just have to settle for the one in the Stillshrine.

I'm avoiding powering up too much now, don't want the bosses to be too easy which is also why I skipped the Zodiac Spear. There was a way to get it early, but that would have been overkill. Its been good though, managed to actually kill the Ring Wyrm, took me like a half hour, especially since the bugger kept healing. I even killed the Gil Snapper, another long long looooooong battle.
I love the espers though, especially the music that plays while they're summoned, if anyone played FF Tactics for the PS1 they'd realise that most of them are based on the Zodiac Braves. Ivalice is a really cool world that I never thought I'd get to visit again. It is the setting of FF Tactics, FF11 and Vagrant Story.

My newfound focus on FF12 is due to the fact that I managed to finish "Dirge of Cereberus". Its a pretty good game although its not worth replaying unless you missed out on the special ending (which I managed to get the first time through). I tried playing on Extra Hard Mode, but really, there's nothing extra to get, just some pictures and character models to view in a menu.

All FF7 fans should play this though. Looks like we won't be seeing an FF7 remake for the PS3 anytime soon. The one Adole was talking about is just a hardware demo of what the game would look like on next-gen technology. Square is focusing on the FF13 series of games. But still, I hope if they do a remake that they go through a lot more than just redoing the original story.

Well I'm outta stuff for today. Nothing much happening except that I'm going to Times Square after work to cancel my DiGi line and I'm applying for a Celcom line instead. Faster connection speeds and it works in the office too. Then I'm gonna check out PC component prices at Imbi Plaza, as well as buy some games. One great thing about this country is our easy access to cetak rompak :D

wheee

Stopped by dad's office before he sent me, Jolene and Ceat to Sungei Wang.. hehe.. we went off to Suria and went nuts..only for an hour though.. :P
Finally got ALL my prom things settled.. definitely nothing close to what i had in mind but all of us are just so desperate to get whatever we can.. but oh well..as long as i enjoy myself.. :) .. *i better!*

anyways..
throughout the seven hours of shopping today.. i kept thinking about this little something..
i have this friend..who has gone after just about all the girls you can think of..
in january he liked me..and then decided to go for another girlfriend of mine... and then, gave up on both and got himself a girlfriend from taylor's itself... after 1 month.. broke up and barely a month since that, has gotten himself a new girlfriend..
see , i dont know if its the girlfriend-boyfriend concept which i am missing, or is it that this guy is just the biggest loser ever..

i mean seriously.. sometimes these things kinda get on my nerves.. because this guy , after breaking up this year , went around saying "im so gonna stay single till im ready for a girl. definitely not anytime soon" and wham, 3 weeks after that he has a girlfriend..wtf..

right now you people probably think i have such kampung mentality but seriously i dont understand this whole "oh lets have a girlfriend for a week or two and dump her when i find a cuter girl"..

okay thats enough whining for a day..
moving on..
My physics lecturer is going to be at prom...YAY !! hehehehehe he is ADORABLE ! :P
no dont worry.. i have not gone as far as to start having unhealthy thoughts about my lecturer..

ahh okay im seriously tired and in need of a warm shower..

Disappointment....
Sorry all, u are all ears today.........any comments and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.

It's just lately that i m somewhat disappointed with one of my fren here. We all got along well at first, and then when we all got closer to each other. When we got closer, we pour out our heart's content most of the time. We see him as our lil' brother. That is a good thing to boot. But things also started to change at this time. Basically, when u r close with someone, teasing each other is just a norm. It's perfectly normal, just that we make sure we never crossed the 'border'. But this fren of ours is not very good at judging the border. He just blatantly make comments which in certain turn of events may pierce our heart downright. His words are also full of thorns. He doesnt take my words seriously most of the time, well, maybe i m a game geek and most of the conservative people will never take game geek seriously. But he is no conservative human being. This totally eludes me. Of late, he is not interested in most of the things i said. It's just a normalcy when we go out for a drink and then we just chat on whatever topic we can think of. Whenever i said something that i like (hobby, gals etc), either he likes it or not, he will tease me and drenched me with icy cold water. It's a sad thing that even if u dun support me, please, pretty please dun drench me with cold water or pull me down. Silence is the best treatment. Now i have run out of topic to discuss with him. I just dunno what to talk anymore. Not to mention the thing that i hate most, "DOUBLE STANDARD". The words pretty much sums up everything, need i explain more? He seems to be adopting the idea well lately and that flustered me. I have been hinting a lot of time already but it's futile. It's not fair if i get irritated with him because he does not do this on purpose. All i can say is i m truely disappointed in him.........I think he notices this too. About the impression of the rest of my frens on him, i m not sure. Or should i say i cant tell. It's not my nature to poke into others personal matter, although i do know something or two. Ah, i feel better now after venting out my frustration and disappointment. hhahahahaha. Thanks for being a good listener.............er.............reader?

Redbox

Anne , Wun and me

Went to Sunway Pyramid's RedBox for Anne's birthday... had so much fun singing and laughing..and dancing like morons... i was literally breathless when we were done ..
laughing + dancing = half dead kavi

anyways.. i doubt Anne enjoyed herself too much..she didnt seem to sing and dance at all.. and we ended up trying to desperately entertain her.. sigh..
if only people can let loose and learn to have fun.. but probably was a wrong idea to consider RedBox for her birthday to begin with.. hehe..

I ended up dancing on the chairs and stuff...but we only took videos of that..no pictures so i cant post any here..haha..
all of us seriously went nuts.. except anne and wun..
the guys were singing all the funny female voices for the songs and i was laughing like a .. errm.. hyena..

and the workers kept looking into our room..probably wondering if we were doing anything illegal..a gangbang probably :)
and once we came out..we realised that the room isnt very sound proof afterall.. which explains why the workers kept peeping into the room..haha..
okay time to watch football

Romeo & Juliet
Watched a part of Baz Lurhmann's take on Romeo & Juliet. It was pretty good, at least up to the part where the DVD stopped playing (darn that Siriuz and his 5 for RM 10 DVDs ... now I have to go look for the movie)

I was really impressed by the depth of Shakespeare's writing skill, how he manages to convey messages in such a beautiful and poetic way. Too bad we never learnt anything about him or his plays in school. No, we had to learn how "Ali, Muthu and Chong went to the market together". Malaysian education sucks, more so our English lessons. Was it just me or was English just an excuse to zone out and talk crap to your bench mates ? After reading some of Shakespeare's work online I realised that Literature IS NOT EQUAL TO CRAP. I know reading all the Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa and crap like that gave a bad impression on Literature, but there are some gems like ... er .. ok I can't think of any good Malay equivalent but Shakespeare rocks !

It's sad that the only taste of Literature we got was Malay ones and most of them read like some sad attempts at fantasy by someone whose idea of description is to pound the readers with superlatives and exaggeration until the reader's mind shuts off and he manages to plod along the story in a near comatase state. It is sad that I couldn't find any literary beauty in any of the Malay classics that I have read. Why couldn't we have learned Lord Of The Rings at school ? Or L. Ron Hubbard's Battlefield Earth ? Or Isaac Asimov's Foundation series ? Oh wait, then we would have probably ended up liking to read earlier and thus become mature and enlightened citizens. A big no no for politicians who rely on the natural apathy and dimwittedness of Malaysian citizens to funnell money into their private bank accounts. So far as I have noted, we Malaysian have an very short memory span, we'll follow a story and lambast the offending party as long as the news is still sensational. As soon as the news is no longer 'hot' we forget all about it.

Ok , back to Shakespeare. Here are some parts that I like ...

_________________________________________________________________
Romeo describing Rosaline, who he has fallen for but she has decided to not-reciprocate his love and instead swear a vow of chastity . I like the part about not opening her lap to saint-seducing gold :P

Romeo :

Well, in that hit you miss: she'll not be hit
With Cupid's arrow,—she hath Dian's wit;
And, in strong proof of chastity well arm'd,
From love's weak childish bow she lives unharm'd.
She will not stay the siege of loving terms
Nor bide th' encounter of assailing eyes,
Nor ope her lap to saint-seducing gold:
O, she's rich in beauty; only poor
That, when she dies, with beauty dies her store.

_________________________________________________________________
Here when two buddies are relaxing, they happened to meet up with their enemies. Buddy 1 eggs on Buddy 2 to go and start a fight ...

My naked weapon is out: quarrel! I will back thee. (I should use this on out next DotA session)

_________________________________________________________________
Here Mercutio is asking Romeo to dance in a costumed party and to let go of his love-lorn sorrow.

Romeo :

Not I, believe me: you have dancing shoes,
With nimble soles; I have a soul of lead
So stakes me to the ground I cannot move.

Mercutio :

You are a lover; borrow Cupid's wings,
And soar with them above a common bound
.

Romeo :

I am too sore enpierced with his shaft
To soar with his light feathers; and so bound,
I cannot bound a pitch above dull woe:
Under love's heavy burden do I sink.

Mercutio :

And, to sink in it, should you burden love;
Too great oppression for a tender thing.

Romeo :

Is love a tender thing? it is too rough,
Too rude, too boisterous; and it pricks like thorn.

___________________________________________________________
Romeo on seeing Juliet for the first time

Romeo :

O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright!
It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night
Like a rich jewel in an Ethiop's ear;
Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear!
So shows a snowy dove trooping with crows
As yonder lady o'er her fellows shows.
The measure done, I'll watch her place of stand
And, touching hers, make blessed my rude hand.
Did my heart love till now? forswear it, sight!
For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night.
_______________________________________________________________

And this has got the be the best way to steal a kiss ...

Romeo :

If I profane with my unworthiest hand
This holy shrine, the gentle fine is this,—
My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand
To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss.

Juliet :

Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much,
Which mannerly devotion shows in this;
For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch,
And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss.

Romeo :

Have not saints lips, and holy palmers too ?

Juliet :

Ay, pilgrim, lips that they must use in prayer.

Romeo :

O, then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do; <-- Note : In prayers hands come together :P
They pray, grant thou, lest faith turn to despair.

Juliet :

Saints do not move, though grant for prayers' sake.

Romeo :

Then move not while my prayer's effect I take.
Thus from my lips, by thine my sin is purg'd.

[Kissing her.]

Juliet :

Then have my lips the sin that they have took.

Romeo :

Sin from my lips? O trespass sweetly urg'd!
Give me my sin again.
<-- And he wants seconds .. cheeky bugger

____________________________________________________________

There, now I am going to reread the whole thing again and refresh my memory. I wonder if I'll be able to use any of the dialogue on a girl ... :) Of course sadly since not many actually read literature or appreciate old English most girls won't understand and they'll think me a looney .. Of course this would make a good test, wouldn't want to be with someone who isn't bright enough to figure out Shakespeare's pick up line :D

FF12 rocks!!!
Greetings everyone. Been a long time since I posted anything. Busy with work and now… busy with FF12… heh heh. More on that later. Now to reply to some of the previous posts…..

Kavi: … I’m not from Singapore, I’m actually from… *surprise* Seremban. Used to be in the same school with warlock, siriuz, sai, and magnus. Also ex-DOTA clan member. (feel so left out now… sigh) Anyway, congrats for finishing your exams. The results are not important. Now the true challenge of life begins. Behold the squall that lies before you. Prepare yourself for the endless battles your will face in the near future. Go forth as ye be sent into the mists of wolves in sheep’s clothing. (hmm… I think I screwed up that quote) Oh well, best of luck….. you’ll need it… mwahahahaha!!! :p

Magnus: … Great post as usual. Always feels extra shitty about the already shitty country I was born in everytime I read one of your posts. I mean come on, always thought stupidity had a limit, but somehow, m’sians always manages to prove me wrong. Khawat on tourists, Christian ice-creams, sms berserkers??? WTF!!! Its sooooo stupid I’m not even sure to be pissed or just laugh at it all. Anyway, keep up the good job. Being away so long kinda makes me forget how horrible m’sia is. Mainly cause indo sucks so bad I’m not even gonna begin. Need to charge up my patriotic hate meter every now and then. Cheers!

Hey, heard about the new movie Eragon yet? Just saw the trailer. They got dragons!!! Looks kinda cool. Hopefully it'll be as good as or even better than LOTR. I wonder, is it from a book aswell? Hmm....

Been playing FF12 for quite some time now. Around level 30+. Vaan is the lead for my team cause I designed him to be the ultimate tank. Typical 1-handed sword and shield kind. Highest level, most hps and enough points in shield related stuff to block more than half of the attack directed to him. In tougher fights, he always gets the honour of becoming the team mascot sitting duck(decoy). Heh heh! Question: Why does decoy miss sometimes??? Anyway, my fav characters are both sky pirates(balthier and fran). He’s got the ‘Style’ and she’s got… well… a different ‘Style’. Beginning to get annoyed with fran’s bow that misses almost 50% of the time. Not very reliable. Also balthier’s gun reload speed is horrendous. Thinking of letting them try new weapons. Any suggestions? Pretty satisfied with the katana and ninja blades. They combo pretty often. Cool. Ashe is my team mage. She levels large groups so fast its scary. Quite satisfied with the lisence board. Almost got all the augments for all the characters already. Anyone found any use for any of the technics. Almost all of them suck. Seriously. Only a few that are useful. Or maybe I’m using them wrong. Tips appreciated. Gave up on trying to get optional espers already. I’m just to weak at the moment. They are killer hard to beat. The normal ones that I can summon don’t seem that significant in battle. Would be better if they don’t kick out your other 2 party members when you summon. As for mist knacks, they are too random for my taste. Its all about luck as far as I can see. Not cool! Any tips on how to use them best would be appreciated. Generally it’s a rather easy game until I try to “hunt”. OMG!!! Some of the hunts are just insane. Too much hps. Really. Insane. Especially when you try to take them on just as they’re posted in the beginning. Still remember how shocked I was when I first took this giant tortoise hunt. It killed my entire party with a single area attack. Guess I was too low level then. And too stuburn to give up. Tried every spell combination and trick in the book. Finally came up with the most cowardly trick of all. Used balthier to snipe the tortoise from the tunnel opening. The thing was too big to enter. Couldn’t reach balthier. Just keep casting weak spells. Guess its magic was not so good. Heh heh! Never seen balthier covered in so much gun powder ever before. Think it took like over a million shots to kill it. Cheap strategy I know, but back then I was really really determined to kill it without leveling up. Just couldn’t take the humiliation of backing out from a fight with a tortoise I guess. Kinda reminds me of Diablo. The Butcher. Ahh… fresh meat!!! Best boss in any game ever. Scared the shit outa me the first time I encountered it. Couldn’t beat it no matter what. Was using the rogue then. Ended up running into a room, closing the door and shooting it with a bow from the window. Ha ha! It was hilarious. Aaawwweeee…… feeling all nostalgic now……. :D
Anyway, for those who are playing FF12, please do post your… uh… um… adventure stories and battle strategies. Would really love to hear them. And for those who are not playing,…. Start playing!!! (cough* Sai cough*)

PS: Might be coming back this Christmas for a few weeks.

Upcoming album

This is the CD + DVD + Poster album

This is the CD + Poster album.

It's better to get the CD + DVD album, for the DVD contains the MTV, PV and the making of some of the clips. To be released 29.11.2006, but will probably reach my place here, KCH in 3 weeks time. Last time, Ayu's CD was around RM40 for album and RM20 for single, but the last time i bought her single and album, the price was hiked to somewhat neary unaffordable (got some other commitments mar). I hope this time the price is just.

One more thing, can anyone help me to check this single out titled 'startin', erm.......it's the opening for Onimusha 4. Been hunting down this single but to no avail. My place here never get the single, even i asked the taukehnio of one of the big cd store to order for me but cant get, something to do with distributor. Might have plenty in KL, so, pls, help me check on it if anyone going to music store.

No title
Sorry for the lack of posts and comments, have been a bit busy lately.

Adole : Hopefully a year wait for the PS3 will be enough, sometimes the problem with mod-chips is that the later ones are much better. Buy too early and there is a risk that your PS3 will not be able to play games that comes later.

Kavi : Hoping to hear more from you after the exams. :) We can discuss your paper then (snigger)

Magnus : I totally understand your frustration with dumb, paranoid anal retentive morons. I have to work with a few here too.

Just read this article by Micheal Backman on Malaysia. I find that the things that he wrote in it to be quite true

While Malaysia fiddles, its opportunities are running dry

By Michael Backman
The Age
November 15, 2006

MALAYSIA'S been at it again, arguing about what proportion of the economy each of its two main races
— the Malays and the Chinese — owns. It's an argument that's been running for 40 years. That wealth
and race are not synonymous is important for national cohesion, but really it's time Malaysia grew up.

It's a tough world out there and there can be little sympathy for a country that prefers to argue about
how to divide wealth rather than get on with the job of creating it.

The long-held aim is for 30 per cent of corporate equity to be in Malay hands, but the figure that the
Government uses to justify handing over huge swathes of public companies to Malays but not to other
races is absurd. It bases its figure on equity valued, not at market value, but at par value.

Many shares have a par value of say $1 but a market value of $12. And so the Government figure (18.9
per cent is the most recent figure) is a gross underestimate. Last month a paper by a researcher at a
local think-tank came up with a figure of 45 per cent based on actual stock prices. All hell broke loose.
The paper was withdrawn and the researcher resigned in protest. Part of the problem is that he is
Chinese.

"Malaysia boleh!" is Malaysia's national catch cry. It translates to "Malaysia can!" and Malaysia certainly
can. Few countries are as good at wasting money. It is richly endowed with natural resources and the
national obsession seems to be to extract these, sell them off and then collectively spray the proceeds
up against the wall.

This all happens in the context of Malaysia's grossly inflated sense of its place in the world.

Most Malaysians are convinced that the eyes of the world are on their country and that their leaders are
world figures. This is thanks to Malaysia's tame media and the bravado of former prime minister Mahathir
Mohamad. The truth is, few people on the streets of London or New York could point to Malaysia on a
map much less name its prime minister or capital city.

As if to make this point, a recent episode of The Simpsons features a newsreader trying to announce
that a tidal wave had hit some place called Kuala Lumpur. He couldn't pronounce the city's name and so
made up one, as if no-one cared anyway. But the joke was on the script writers — Kuala Lumpur is
inland.

Petronas, the national oil company is well run, particularly when compared to the disaster that passes for
a national oil company in neighbouring Indonesia. But in some respects, this is Malaysia's problem. The
very success of Petronas means that it is used to underwrite all manner of excess.

The KLCC development in central Kuala Lumpur is an example. It includes the Twin Towers, the tallest
buildings in the world when they were built, which was their point. It certainly wasn't that there was an
office shortage in Kuala Lumpur — there wasn't.

Malaysians are very proud of these towers. Goodness knows why. They had little to do with them. The
money for them came out of the ground and the engineering was contracted out to South Korean
companies. They don't even run the shopping centre that's beneath them. That's handled by Australia's
Westfield.

Next year, a Malaysian astronaut will go into space aboard a Russian rocket — the first Malay in space.
And the cost? $RM95 million ($A34.3 million), to be footed by Malaysian taxpayers. The Science and
Technology Minister has said that a moon landing in 2020 is the next target, aboard a US flight. There's
no indication of what the Americans will charge for this, assuming there's even a chance that they will
consider it. But what is Malaysia getting by using the space programs of others as a taxi service? There
are no obvious technical benefits, but no doubt Malaysians will be told once again, that they are "boleh".
The trouble is, they're not. It's not their space program.

Back in July, the Government announced that it would spend $RM490 million on a sports complex near
the London Olympics site so that Malaysian athletes can train there and "get used to cold weather". But
the summer Olympics are held in the summer.

So what is the complex's real purpose? The dozens of goodwill missions by ministers and bureaucrats to
London to check on the centre's construction and then on the athletes while they train might provide a
clue.

Bank bale outs, a formula one racing track, an entire new capital city — Petronas has paid for them all.
It's been an orgy of nonsense that Malaysia can ill afford.

Why? Because Malaysia's oil will run out in about 19 years. As it is, Malaysia will become a net oil
importer in 2011 — that's just five years away.

So it's in this context that the latest debate about race and wealth is so sad.

It is time to move on, time to prepare the economy for life after oil. But, like Nero fiddling while Rome
burned, the Malaysian Government is more interested in stunts like sending a Malaysian into space
when Malaysia's inadequate schools could have done with the cash, and arguing about wealth
distribution using transparently ridiculous statistics.

That's not Malaysia "boleh", that's Malaysia "bodoh" (stupid).

ends

Tried out an automatic levelling trick for Final Fantasy XII which exploits using gambits with a creature that spawns a continuous stream of undeads. Here is the guide that I used :

p.s : don't over do it ok . The game will lose it's fun. Just use it to level a bit so that you can go somewhere with bigger badder creatures to level up. Have fun.

A few topics have been made about this strategy but I thought Id shrink it down to one topic so people didn't have to read so much to find out what to do. Based on Albedo Piazzola and OnceUponAB10nd3s ideas they came up with this strategy that Albedo Piazzola submited to gamefaqs. But it could have been rejected so it might be a good idea to bump this topic so it stays at the top or possibly tagged it since this strategy works 100% of the time. This is the strategy that Albedo Piazzola sent in but I changed it so it now works 100% without the leader getting Doom cast on him. Good Luck!

"I have submited this as a cheat/exploit, here is a copy of the submit.
Exploiting Negalmuur's Endless Spawns.

This is a trick to exploiting the endless spawning of Ghast by Negalmuur to gain endless Levels, EXP and LP.

Step 1: Preparations.

-Get all of your characters to at least LV. 30
-Equip them with the most up to date weapons and armors.
-Having all 3 mist charges is recommended because of the MP boost you get.
-A short while after defeating Mateus you will be able to buy remedies at loot shops. Buy 10-20 depending on how long you want to level up.
-Get "Remedy Lore 3" on the liscence board. It allows remedy to cure Doom.

Step 2: Gambit Setup.

Character 1 (Party Leader):

Self - Haste
Ally: HP < 70% - Cura
Ally: Any - Raise
Ally: Any - Esuna
Ally: Party Leader - Remedy
Foe: HP < 3,000 - Attack
Self - Charge

Character 2:

Self - Haste
Ally: HP < 70% - Cura
Ally: Any - Raise
Ally: Any - Esuna
Ally: Party Leader - Remedy
Self - Decoy
Foe: HP < 3,000 - Attack
Self - Charge

Character 3:

Self - Haste
Ally: HP < 70% - Cura
Ally: Any - Raise
Ally: Any - Esuna
Ally: Party Leader - Remedy
Self - Decoy
Foe: HP < 3,000 - Attack
Self ・Charge

Step 3: Clear the Stillshrine of Miriam

Finish the whole stage at least to the point that the Sword of Judgment・is lifted from the path in the Ward of the Sword-King・ this is required to be able to clear the whole Ward of the Sword-King・of any enemies.

Step 4: Hunt for Negalmuur.

In Ward of the Sword King・which is the corridor at West from Save Crystal (go bottom from Save Crystal), kill all enemies there, exit and re-enter. Keep re-entering it might take up to 20 or more tries before you encounter Negalmuur but each time you leave the area make sure it is totally cleared of ALL enemies.

Step 5: Reap the Rewards.

During the battle with Negalmuur with the setup above mentioned he will summon a Ghast every 4-8 seconds and your characters will keep attacking them only because they have less than 3,000HP and Negalmuur has over 18,000HP with each kill you get 1LP and about 340EXP per character (Assuming you have a party of 3) also this can be further enhanced with accessories that multiply the EXP and LP gained he will endlessly summon the Ghast. Remedies will only be used when Doom is cast on the leader. If any other status effect is cast on the leader like Petrify, Esuna will be used. Because the other characters have Decoy the leader having Doom cast on him will be rare so not to many remedies will be used. Once you have gotten to the point where you want to stop DON探 kill him leave the room and save in the save crystal in the next room and re-set your game this will let you encounter him in the future.

This Cheat was fine tuned by the people on the Final Fantasy XII boards, I thank all of them for there help."

PS3 launched!!!!
I hope it's not too late, PS3 was launched in Japan *drool drool drool* on 11th November, 2006, that was 3 days ago. It costs us$420 for basic and us$508 for premium version. In Malaysia, i think we can get it for about RM2000+, it wont be less than that. *sniff sniff* Too expensive lo for me at the time being. I m looking forward to buy the console in a year time, hopefully the price has gone down. FFXIII is a game to die for, and the girl in the screenie is NOT the leading character according to some sources. I m a bit intrigue on how the main character looks like. FFXIII versus is another title due to be released for PS3. There are all together 7 titles for FFVIII, Squareenix is making it like FFVII, a long franchise of 20 years (from what i read, the truth of the news still blurred me, dun blame me pls if wrong info is given :P). One more thing, i checked the back of the original DVD of FFVII Advent Children and i found out that in DVD 2, there is a section called remake of PS3 games, something like that. anyone has the ori DVD, can clarify this for me? Supposedly, there wont be a remake for PS3 FFVII, but if they happen to find time, then the project would probably be continue. I forgot which webbie i found this out, i think i posted it in my frenster's group. Post it sometime later.

Blissful gathering
It was a joyful and cheerful night yesterday. I had a gathering with our mirc friends. Actually my friends introduced me to this # and the people in there are just too hilarious. We used to have gathering every night, yea, u heard it right, every night last time. Erm........including me, about nearly 20 members would usually attend the gathering. But lately, the big group has split up into 2 seperate smaller groups due to some arising conflicts amongst some members. Me and my old friends we caught in between the rift. Practically, we are the neutral people, so we try to attend both gatherings if possible. It's some sort of the Friday Dota Nite event lo, just too bad i m too far from u guys, or else i will join the fun.

I love gathering now. whahha, just last nite one of my fren was giving me cold shoulder because i din ajak him c my target. mwhahahaha. dun dare ler, he always inadvertantly give out sparks of electric wave one, susah lo me.

bleh
i couldnt wait till wednesday...
since im probably the only one in this blog still sitting for exams..
i wonder.. WHY do people ALWAYS discuss exam questions after a paper..
okay if it was trials or crap i would understand.. but finals.. whats the point discussing.. you can't change anything ..

throughout the exams i made it clear to my friends i dont intend to discuss the papers after the exam... but no.. some still had the nerve to come to me and go like "hey what was your answer for blablabla?"
and then i say "erm cant remember la"
and they would say "i heard the correct answer is this this this"
and then i realise oh shit , i got it wrong..
it doesnt help either one of us.. arrrrrhhhhh..

and me being the worry-forever-till-i-almost-pass-out type of person.. i end up thinking about that shit question until i reach home and until im tucked in bed. my bad i know but seriously why do people bother discussing !
today after the bio paper one of my friends asked me HOW WAS THE MATHS EXAM which was granny ages ago.. and that was the toughest paper on the face of the earth so talking about is a NO NO.. and when i said bio was a little tough.. she goes like "but people found it quite okay la. im worried la" .. .. .. worry my ass la go cry somewhere else..
i know you bloggers are the "ahh go bitch somewhere else" type so please help me out here..

okay to friends reading this.. dont even bother asking me how the chemistry paper is on wednesday okay because im going to shove my books up your ass if you do..

pissed..

Halo The Movie
Before I leave to Genting to do a one day meeting. I was manage to blog. Just checked Low Yat.net and found out Halo movie production has been delay. What surprice me is that Microsoft and 20th Century manage to recruit Peter Jackson, the famous director who bring us "The Lord of the Ring" and "King Kong" to do this movie. I wonder is the borg behind this?

About the issue at Malaysia, a lot of people aware of the issue seeing they can't really hide the truth because of the uncensor policy at internet usage (partly thanks to Dr.M) but unfortunately there so little we can do. Recent report show that foreign investment to our country has drop by 10%. It might be expected seeing the world economy doesn't really improve that much but please also notice that foreign investment to this area (ASEAN) is actually increase by 40%. So are the G going to say this report is flaw and ask for apology. Seriously I don't know. As for the foreign couple, I feel sorry about them. This is the case which reminds me the case where one china lady get caught by the police and the naked photo of her was spread out. We all know what happen then. I totally agree with magnus about the intelligent (or should I say wisdom) of our people. I mean for us we don't really that serious about sms and email. At least we will investigate and wait for the truth to come out. But all this kind of sms and mail is able to take control of some of the people and make them become the mob, that scares me.

I don't have the luxury to play FFXII. So right now I concentrate myself into work? Nah! I am playing Marvers: the ultimate alliance and it actually not a bad game. I feel like I can play it again and try a few character I like. We also started to watch a new anime call "School Rumble". So far six episode give me the impression is funny but not brainless. Going to watch more after back from Genting.

I hate the smell of morons in the morning
Malaysia Boleh!!! (basically means Malaysia can!!)

I think this sort of sums up how I feel right now. Nope its not that I really feel that the country "boleh". It symbolizes to me a people than are more fixated on constantly talking about how they can but never actually doing. We can do it, but were not really that good so lets create our own book of records (seriously how lame is that).

I've been getting extremely pissed off by what I've been seeing happen in my counrty. Yes its my fucking country too!!! But back to the topic at hand. I want to go over some things that have happened in the past few months here:

Police/FRU beat up people in front of KLCC
So these folks were demonstrating against the reduction of petrol subsidies by the government. While I do agree with the reduction, the resulting demonstration was a perfectly normal reaction. The police said they didn't have a permit to demostrate/gather, beat up everyone and blasted them with water cannons. There is and investigation going on during which they also showed footage of a woman being knocked down, but all the people involved seem to have "memory loss"

Angry Muslims try to storm a forum
There was an Article 11 forum being held a few months back. Its basically a forum to look at the legal implications regarding religion and race in Malaysia which included among other things the status of muslims who convert out of islam and the status of a spouse whose partner converts, or converts their children. So anyway a group of misinformed muslims gathered outside the hotel where the forum was being held. The were demonstrating/ gathering and they didn't have a permit. Now I'm sure that they were trying to storm the hotel to have a quiet and civil discussion...right....right....So there were about 500 people trying to storm the place and 250 policemen. No water cannons, no beatings, no pushing over of women. Instead the forum was cut short by the police for safety concerns. So 250 fucking policemen couldn't handle an unruly mob of religious fanatics and instead cancelled the forum which had a permit!!!! A couple of days later our "Saya tak tahu" Prime Minister announced an indefinite halt to any more discussions on the "sensitive issue" of conversion/religion etc etc.

American couple accosted by JAIS (An organisation of sexually frustrated man-bitches who can't get any and don't want the rest of us to either)
This old I repeat old and retired american couple were enjoying a stay in Langkawi and relaxing in their hotel room when JAIS shows up banging on the door and accuses them of committing "khawat" (the outrageous offence of a man and woman being together unsupervised..yup they don't actually have to do anything except be alone together). JAIS demands to see their marriage licence. See it would be obvious to most educated people with partially funcitoning brains that two white folks speaking with an american accent claiming to not be muslim are telling the truth. But of course the people who work for JAIS did their matriculation and graduated from Universiti Malaya so we shouldn't hold this against them. The american couple will probably not be visiting our wonderful country again.

PPIM files police report agains High 5, a bread manufacturer for using non-halal ingredients in their bread.
This is something I would be in agreement with in they actually did such a thing. However this proved to be an untrue allegation. Would have been nice if the PPIM dude didn't run around screaming and flinging themselves onto their kerises in public, destroying the High5 reputation and causing staggering loss of profits. I'm sure the foreign investors watching really REALLY want to put their money in this country now.

Mob of agry muslims for outside a church to demonstrate (i.e. beat up) muslims being baptised based on s rumour circulated by SMS
I am pleased to note that they did not have a permit but were not beaten up and blasted by water cannons. The rumour turned out to be false and only a group of terrified sunday worshippers were in the church. Of course the police are going after the evil-doers who sent the sms instead of the assholes mobbing outside the church. I mean what fucking kind of fundamental flaw needs to exist in a person for him/her to say "hmmm I got an SMS today saying some muslim folk are converting to christianity....I am really angry and want to demonstrate/beat them up". This clearly smacks of small penis syndrome. GET A FUCKING JOB!!!! Pissing losers!!!

PPIM files a police report against Wall's Ice Cream because of the presence of a cross (mind you it looks like a + sign and does not have Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, unless you're a sinner in which case he will pwn your ass with a flaming sword that comes out of his mouth, hanging from it)
Before I forget, PPIM stands for "Persatuan Pengguna Islam Malaysia" roughly translated in english it means "Assholes with nothing better to do except masturbate to porn in their bedrooms while pretending to pray so their mommies won't come in and disturb them, also fucks goats when back in their village". So basically they're getting all hopped up over the plus sign. They're trying to call it a cross, but it so isn't. Go buy yourself a Walls "Moo" ice cream and see for yourself. I gleaned all this from online news and blog sites, will be checking on their preaching christianity ice cream if I can find one on sale today. So next they are going after evil mathematics, watch out all of you evil-does doing additions and multiplications in public and in schoold textbooks for you spread the religion of evil and are destroying society. DESIST!!!!

Central Market to be organised along racial lines
Yup. just read in the newspaper that the new management wants to split up the mall into malay, chinese and indian areas for shops (yes lets all forget about all the other races/tribes etc). Don't know if it will come to pass, but this is just random stupidity, or perhaps something more sinister. Sigh.

This is just a small sample of the bullshit that is happening in Malaysia today. All the while it scares off the foreign investments that we desperately need to keep our economy afloat. The people doing this are of course hoping this will happen since high unemployment is ripe ground for growing new extremists. Our politicians don't care since all their money is offshored so they can leave when the shit hits the ceiling.

I am so sick of this crap and when I go overseas I'm never coming back to this shithold of a country. To be fair it really isn't that bad now, we get to go see movies, download shit, go to the cybercafe. But its really naive to think that its going to stay this way if current trends keep up. The nature of fanatics and extremists is that they gain more power the more people just keep quiet and let them do what they do. Most malays/muslims like to think they are accepting and blah blah, so no one stands up. Everytime a non-muslim tries to stand up and speak against in they are silenced either by mobs or by the goverment (you know to satisfy the mobs and stop them from mobbing).

The simple truth of it is in the economics. No one will want to risk investing in an unstable country when they're got China, Singapore, Taiwan etc etc. This is proven simply by the fact that out of the total foreign direct investment Singapore, a country with no natural resources beat us flat.

Once investments start stagnating at this level (they are already at record lows) unemployment will become rampant (does 60,000 unemployed graduates sound familiar?). Naturally the minorities will be blamed. Try to think of what happened to the Chinese in Indonesia (a relatively weathy minority there, very similar to here). Yup the looting, killing and raping of minorities. Ask yourself if you really, truly believe this will not happen here if the economy tanks. Of course most people aren't like this right. WRONG!!! Most people we KNOW aren't like this. Most educated, city dwelling folk aren't like this. The majority or Malaysia is uneducated and metally unstable if the treatment by the government and current events indicate anything. REady to riot at the drop of a hat, all the while being led along by the politicians.

How depressing is this. Well I hope you guys have a backup plan. Where you gonna hide or move to when they start coming after you???

OTHER STUFF

Well besides the usual depressing state of things...I finally gave up killing werewolves in FF12 and decided to proceed with the story. Having fun so far. I'm also playing "Dirge of Cerberus" and am at Chapter 2. Its a pretty good game, simple and easy to get in and out of, I am so going to finish it this week and the play through it once more time to get everything since it is a short game.

I'm going computer parts shopping this weekend and will not be doing DotA, unless we have it on Saturday morning and the have even numbers. Its such a waste when we play odd numbers since we're all pretty decent players. Since we do play for fun and not to go pro we should start meeting up only is we have enough people. I'm pretty much rooted in KL for now to sort out my stuff so Warlock, let me know when we can meet up next.

I'm upgrading my PC as I was saying, but I'm not sure what to upgrade. I've got all the optical drives I need, so probably a new power supply (need dual voltage), hard disk, RAM (should I go for 1 or 2 GB sigh I can't decide), and a new casing. I want to get a super cool looking case, or maybe I'll just spray paint the existing one. Hmmm that's an idea.

Well, I'm out of rage for the day. Time to think happy thoughts.

Drivel
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Cocobear pwning Magnus (after reaching maximum on the 'Bad Teamwork' bar )

Just wanted to test if photobucket pics can be linked to the blog.

I just got the TAG and pasted in. I recommend that the EDIT HTML (on top there , next to Compose mode) be used cause sometimes it can get screwed up. So you change to EDIT HTML mode then paste the code, then when you change to COMPOSE again you can see the pic :)

Just downloaded and watched South Park : Make Love not Warcraft. So damn funny. Must see for every online RPG game lovers !

Can't wait to DOTA later :P , want to kill something else besides stupid wolves and bats (FF 12)

Totally forgot that I promised Chino I'll post here on how to play some Jack Johnson songs on the guitar here. I'm thinking of making a short video and then put up the link here with the tab. Thinking of putting up Better Together and Banana Pancakes. Anyone want to learn any other songs by him ?

To Kavi :

pwn is a gaming word. "Legend" has it that this word originated from the custom maps played in Warcraft (before DotA) . When you kill someone in the game a line of text like this appears
"Magnus owns Warlock" for example, this evolved into "owning" and "ownage" to commonly used to describe a sweet kill or a superb victory. On one of the custom maps the maker made a typo, he accidentally used pwn instead of own. So the text read "Warlock pwns Magnus". It became an instant l33t thingy (more on that someday) and everyone uses it widely today. There a many varieties of pwn such as pwnage, pwnster, l33t pwning and such.

Busou Renkin
Wow! It may seem the blog is spinning around FFXII huh. Well congratulation on such a good game is out for FF series. At least the director no need to try to commit suicide (as he almost did it after the failer of the movie (old story and rumous)). As for me my pc have fail me again and this time is my graphic card. Send it to claim warranty and have to wait for another 2 weeks for it to come back(I hope). So I can't play the game I wait for very long time, NEVERWINTER NIGHTS 2. Still playing Disgeae now and go into the item world again and again.

Recently I finished a manga call Busou Renkin. After that I found out Japan is actually showing the anime. For those who haven't read it. I think the anime can at least show the idea of the manga. This manga is drawn and written by Nobuhiro Watsuki. The same artist who draw Rurouni Kenshin. I can't help but notice this artist like the main character to have scar on their face. This time he do it on the girl though.

About windows media player, although I haven't fully test it yet but it seem better than previous version. At least now the maximize and minimize full screen work more like media player classic. I will still use it for a while and see. It has been a while since I use windows media player. I always feel this player to be clumsy and slow. media player classic however have the same function that I want but it is simple, faster and more compatible.

As for the favourite theme song thing, I don't have the most song with me right now. So I will post the list of the song later. Currently what I can remember are:

SILENT HILL 2: THEME OF LAURA
INUYASHA MOVIE 4: BATTLE THEME

Southpark: Make Love Not Warcraft
You guys have got to go to www.youtube.com and search "southpark warcraft" they've got the whole episode there. Its hilarious and I know the DotA gang will get a kick out of this.

Well I've finally started enjoying FF 12 and have become a certified furry since I'm hot for the bunny eared chick. Upped the battle speed to its maximum (I know d'oh!) and the problem of painfully boring battles are history. Although, the levelling up process takes way too long. Seriously, if I'm lucky I get 2 levels per hour of combat.

Its not so bad though since I've managed to progress without suffering too much due to low levels. They only time I get busted up is when I go fight overpowered enemies that I have no business messing with early game. Oh I want an esper damnit!!!!!

Plus Ashe looks cute too....

Its so wonderful, already thursday and I can taste the DotA this Friday. Will go and read some guides today.

Forwarded Message From Forwarding Messages
Here is a little something that evil people do using e-mail. Lets say they hate someone and want to flood their e-mail, all they have to do is ...

1) Make a spiffy looking e-mail complete with picture. Said e-mail will claim to be a promotion of a certain product such as the SONY PSP, IPod and stuff like that.

2) They will claim that "Company {Insert name of heartless evil megacorporation here} is having a promotion of it's product by word of mouth.

3) They will then claim that if you forward this message to 30 people you will receive a free IPOD or PSP or PS3 ..

Too good to be true right ? All you need to do is forward it and you get a cool new toy .. read on ..

4) Of course to keep track of your e-mail, you need to forward the e-mail to one of their staff (Ms STAFF) as well.

So, puffed up by the hopes of getting your new PS3 you quickly open up your address book and tick 30 people to forward to ... you don't forget to add Ms STAFF's e-mail address as well.

Now what really happens is this. The e-mail will be sent to 30 different people and Ms STAFF. Now, each of the 30 people will forward their e-mail to another 30 persons each (Total 900 people, Ms. STAFF gets 31 e-mails) . The next stage will have 900 people sending to 30 people each (Total 27 000 people, Ms STAFF gets 900 mails). The next stage will see Ms STAFF getting 27 000 mails and from then on she will abandon her current e-mail address and start a new one :P

As you can see the amount of mail increases exponentially and this will totally mail-bomb Ms STAFF. So the next time you get amessage like this, don't forward it without thinking about the consenquences of your actions.

Now this message is a chain message, after reading this you must copy the whole text and forward it to 10 people via e-mail or post it in a blog within the hour or a giant dick will grow between your eyes and you'll die a horrible death being raped by donkeys. Do forward it , why take the risk ya ?

Now now Warlock before you go "Fong U Shaun I'm Gonna Rape U Like A DONKEY!!!", U said that i should forward this message in A blog. U didn't specify which blog. And also I don't wanna risk getting a dick grown between by eyes and being raped by donkeys like u wouldn't I?
