Greetings everyone. Been a long time since I posted anything. Busy with work and now… busy with FF12… heh heh. More on that later. Now to reply to some of the previous posts…..

Magnus: … Great post as usual. Always feels extra shitty about the already shitty country I was born in everytime I read one of your posts. I mean come on, always thought stupidity had a limit, but somehow, m’sians always manages to prove me wrong. Khawat on tourists, Christian ice-creams, sms berserkers??? WTF!!! Its sooooo stupid I’m not even sure to be pissed or just laugh at it all. Anyway, keep up the good job. Being away so long kinda makes me forget how horrible m’sia is. Mainly cause indo sucks so bad I’m not even gonna begin. Need to charge up my patriotic hate meter every now and then. Cheers!
Hey, heard about the new movie Eragon yet? Just saw the trailer. They got dragons!!! Looks kinda cool. Hopefully it'll be as good as or even better than LOTR. I wonder, is it from a book aswell? Hmm....
Been playing FF12 for quite some time now. Around level 30+. Vaan is the lead for my team cause I designed him to be the ultimate tank. Typical 1-handed sword and shield kind. Highest level, most hps and enough points in shield related stuff to block more than half of the attack directed to him. In tougher fights, he always gets the honour of becoming the team mascot sitting duck(decoy). Heh heh! Question: Why does decoy miss sometimes??? Anyway, my fav characters are both sky pirates(balthier and fran). He’s got the ‘Style’ and she’s got… well… a different ‘Style’. Beginning to get annoyed with fran’s bow that misses almost 50% of the time. Not very reliable. Also balthier’s gun reload speed is horrendous. Thinking of letting them try new weapons. Any suggestions? Pretty satisfied with the katana and ninja blades. They combo pretty often. Cool. Ashe is my team mage. She levels large groups so fast its scary. Quite satisfied with the lisence board. Almost got all the augments for all the characters already. Anyone found any use for any of the technics. Almost all of them suck. Seriously. Only a few that are useful. Or maybe I’m using them wrong. Tips appreciated. Gave up on trying to get optional espers already. I’m just to weak at the moment. They are killer hard to beat. The normal ones that I can summon don’t seem that significant in battle. Would be better if they don’t kick out your other 2 party members when you summon. As for mist knacks, they are too random for my taste. Its all about luck as far as I can see. Not cool! Any tips on how to use them best would be appreciated. Generally it’s a rather easy game until I try to “hunt”. OMG!!! Some of the hunts are just insane. Too much hps. Really. Insane. Especially when you try to take them on just as they’re posted in the beginning. Still remember how shocked I was when I first took this giant tortoise hunt. It killed my entire party with a single area attack. Guess I was too low level then. And too stuburn to give up. Tried every spell combination and trick in the book. Finally came up with the most cowardly trick of all. Used balthier to snipe the tortoise from the tunnel opening. The thing was too big to enter. Couldn’t reach balthier. Just keep casting weak spells. Guess its magic was not so good. Heh heh! Never seen balthier covered in so much gun powder ever before. Think it took like over a million shots to kill it. Cheap strategy I know, but back then I was really really determined to kill it without leveling up. Just couldn’t take the humiliation of backing out from a fight with a tortoise I guess. Kinda reminds me of Diablo. The Butcher. Ahh… fresh meat!!! Best boss in any game ever. Scared the shit outa me the first time I encountered it. Couldn’t beat it no matter what. Was using the rogue then. Ended up running into a room, closing the door and shooting it with a bow from the window. Ha ha! It was hilarious. Aaawwweeee…… feeling all nostalgic now……. :D
Anyway, for those who are playing FF12, please do post your… uh… um… adventure stories and battle strategies. Would really love to hear them. And for those who are not playing,…. Start playing!!! (cough* Sai cough*)

Well I must say this is sad, even latecomer Arc is ahead of me in FF12, so tired of killing Werewolves, finally decided to progress through the game, at least my new characters now sign up with like 1500 licence points yay!!!
Plus I finally got my Kotetsu, its Katanas all the way for Vaan, Ashe is gonna be my Palladin and Fran is my black mage with a spear, the bow is supposed to miss a lot.
The best video game boss is Magneto from "X-Men: Children of the Atom"!!!!! The best evar and super cool. No character can win unless the AI lets you ^_^

Just finished the Stillshrine of Miriam, all chars at lvl 42 :P .. power levelling is the way to go. Spend hours and hours whacking things that give you 500 XP and can be killed easily ..
The bow sucks but I'm just keeping it until I get something nicer, trying to make sure each character uses a different weapon.
Careful with the hunts, I got party wiped like 5 times in a row .. chasing different creatures each time somemore T_T
The skills seems pretty ghey .. don't use them at all. Pretty sad though. Try looking at the Hunting Guide on Gamefaqs and plan ahead so that you can get strong weapons .. helps you farm. I got the Fransessca axe for Basch and he is giving me around 2 000 hp damage. :)
At level 43 I managed to get 1 optional summon though, the lightning dragon guy, North of the Mask wearing people village .. underground cave. Just have many mages and spam Blizzaga :)

Well I'm still playing "Dirge of Cerberus" I don't know why but I'm filled with joy everytime the old FF 7 characters show up, just like I was when they showed up to tackle Shin Bahamut in Advent Children.
I guess I'll just finish that tonight and concentrate of FF12 after that. Going to watch "Casino Royale" tonight so no gaming today *sulk*

Plus you should tell us more about how sucky Indonesia is, at least we'll feel better about Malaysia then ^_^

wow warlock, ur characters more high lv than me ler, except for my Fran ^^ i got the lightning summon also, but i use all their lv 3 mist knacks to win the battle, i so hate the spawning zombie, getting hit by them hurts. My Fran is a bow user and mage. Here's the weap i use for each character
Fran = Bow
Vaan = grenade and now axe
Basch = axe
Penelo = stick/pole and katana
Ashe = shield and sword
Balthier = crossbow and gun
oh, this is how i use my mist knack. assuming all with lv 3 mp gauge, i will always leave someone with 3 mp gauges and shuffle between the other 2. i do this until i feel i cant shuffle anymore and the time is too short, only then i will use the sure-existing mist. Let's put it like my Fran's is always on the square, i will leave the square button alone until needed. then i can have more comboes (highest 13 so far, with 5 lv 3 mist, after that, the time drops to 0.29 sec which is obviously too short even for any shuffling to take place).
Same here magnus, i was in happy to see them even just in cgi. It's like kingdom hearts 2 where everyone was working together in the city (dunno what name liao), squall, tifa, cloud. that is the one before the massive battle (or before fighting sephiroth.

Wow, Adole you are good. The highest I got was 12 combo with the mist knacks ... even that was luck, Ashe kept on getting mist charges. Guess I am getting older, reflexes are shot to hell.
Surprisingly I didn't notice that bows miss often. I'll go back and check, might have missed noticing it since was staring at something else whenever my bow user (Fran) is around.

erm......my bow hit 80% of the time. And it does critical also quite often, of coz not as powerful as axe weapon. I control Fran all the way from the beginning, and i m not really annoyed with the miss rate unless if i hit some high speed monster like wolf. I notice that if i try to hit wolf, i will miss more often, compare to hitting gigantus creature. On boss, i think it's quite normal.
Warlock, i just got lucky lar that time, usually about 9-10 times, but that time really lucky, was hitting the optinal summon, must kill in 2 mist knacks in a row with 6 members. I think i go back lv up lar tonite, it really hurts now when getting hit by normal monsters.
