Monday post Since Siriuz has mentioned a couple of times that I never post on Mondays I've decided to just make a quick one. Lots of work to do, even more filing to do. For the first time ever I'm raring to go for work, but I have to spend my day putting papers into folders. Plus the dreaded chat with my boss about my future should be happening today *croak* Not coming down this weekend. Gonna work hard and party hard this Saturday and Sunday. I read an extremely funny article "Suicide" on Encyclopedia Dramatica this weekend. Those of you that haven't read it really should. I was laughing like mad on the LRT. Physics mock test was today.. 9-12.. we made a complete mockery of it.. talking and laughing around in the exam hall with the casual "hey ,dont talk la" from the physics lecturer.. after an hour of the start , students started packing up and leaving..and some were going to the toilet at least 3 or 4 times.. me, i wasn't in the mood for physics at all (as usual ).. but i managed to just get some done to make the lecturer happy :P then after that we went to the train station and took silly photos... we're all behaving like finals is over..gosh posted by jkavi on 3:07 PM / there are 0 comments for this post. :S somehow i feel a little bad after this whole dress trying thing.. because when we tried on the Purple tube dress.. it was a bit lose for me but was too tight for 2 of my other friends whose names i shall not mention, considering that some of my classmates visit this blog.. first when i tried it on i was thinking gosh,cant these people make smaller dresses! then when 2 of them tried it the lady said it has to be altered for them to fit into it.. and already the two of them were "oh no im so fat i have to diet like crazy" the whole day.. didnt help having to see me fit into a dress that they didnt.. i mean its not like they're chubby or anything.. but they're slightly broader than me.. and their arms are both much chubbier than mine la but how does arm size convince people to think they're.. English period became a photo-taking session she's Wun..and she's just amazing.. i couldnt choose between the two pics.. we're getting used to this pose.. then there was three.. me and English lecturer , Mrs Banu ***************************************** my feet were a bit too small for the shoe but from the front the shoe looks so cute ! these shoes !! they go well with my pants !! eesh.. they're so painful to walk in.. but so pretty to look at !! comfy.. my poor feet modelled most of the shoes my friends wanted to see.. but i liked them all..HEHEHE good shoes! i was walking around in them for as long as we were trying on the dresses in that shop.. *they're adorable* i just realised.. ive got an obsession with pointed shoes.. i dont buy them but i love how they look! of course we all know i could not last more than 20 minutes in those.. i love that purple !! i had it on for so long okay.. took it off reluctantly when we were rushed for time.. doubles! ..both were different colours though purple rocks! not something i would get but trying it on was fun.. awww.. *we found the same design in 3 colours.. this colour was so so cute! but the top was too small.. @!#$ we had time to cam-whore in the fitting room this dress was like a grandma outfit.. but i tried it on for the sake of being a retard.. Jo's dress.. she's sort of set on getting it.. looked really cute on her :) i love this blue! both dresses were sweet.. a purple tube.. yay :) same dress..different girls :) this was super comfy.. but not prom material.. liked this..sort of.. okay so i woke up late today..REAL late..my friend waited for me for 20 minutes!! tsk tsk..bad kavi! and i had to throw on whatever i had in my cupboard and after wearing that top i realised i hadnt worn a tube inside since the back of the shirt was pretty transparent and knowing my lecturers,they always make nasty remarks about "improper" dressing.. but i had no time to switch... reached college super early since the road was so clear.. went for breakfast and Luke asked me if this shirt was a NIGHTGOWN which i ripped into half.. *arghhh.. and then went in class and saw some girls pointing at me and whispering.. bout the shirt probably..these people..cant they just go home,wear some really transparent top and fantasize in it.. argh.. and then the whole day we didnt study much at all... haha.. started shopping after Physics.. was nuts okay we were so frantically searching for dresses and i was getting tired of putting them on and taking them off... oh well.. i didnt like any in particular today..some were cute but not something i would necessarily wear.. Some had this silly frills and cuts which made us look pregnant + boobie-less.. will probably go to my usual dress shop is Selayang after finals.. hehehe! anyways time to go hit the books.. chao p/s : all dresses were modelled by Jo, Me, Anne and Joanne.. but faces were cut out for..errm.. for fun..no problem though..could probably differenciate us by the way we modelled the dresses :) hahaha... shoes were modelled by me..hehe and i liked the black one so much before i forget.. today while trying on the dresses , 2 of my friends said "yuck im so fat" at least 5 times.. at least.. and now they're considering starving themselves to lose weight to fit into a prom dress.. and one of them is as thin as me. .or slightly broader.. i dont mean starve as in completely not eat or anything but they intend to eat VERY little.. until they're thin enough what do i say.. posted by jkavi on 5:32 PM / there are 0 comments for this post. All the good gaming related jobs in the United States are based in California. EA Games, Blizzard, SquareEnix. I'm pissed. I was planning to go in as a playtester if I could, but its just too far away from my fiancee who lives all the way in Minnesota...and the whole point of going to the States was for us to be together after all. This means that my dreams of working in a Video/Computer Game company have to be put on hold until maybe 2-3 years from now. Still sulking. This can only mean one thing...I need to play Final Fantasy XII to ease my tensions. Seriously though, have you guys ever really wanted to do something like this? There's loads of opportunities in California as playtesters. Its like the jobs those guys in the movie "Grandma's Boy" had. Its the basic entry level position to go into the gaming industry. From the you go on to become designers, producers etc. etc. Of course since I can't program for shit I will not be taking that path. Anyway just thought I'd post up this link to a resource site for careers in game development, people like Warlock, Siriuz and Arc should definately check this one out.
