Drifting is so cool . I wish I could do it , too bad I don't have a car of my own. :( Wanna learn to drift .... but my dad will probably kill me if I do it with his car :P ....

I am so captivated by the beauty of a car skidding into a full 4-WD inertial drift . It's something totally out of this world. It's every car enthusiast' dream .. to be able to control your car like your very own hands and legs.

To make the car dance as you want it to ... to dance the ballet of inertia , no regards for traction or even the friction coefficient of the road . Sigh .. the beauty , the art. (Yes I know , I am just raving ..... read the blog title ) Here are some details on drifting :

It became very famous in Japan and recently started gaining popularity in the States and other places (like M'sia :P). Of course the best drifters are still Japanese guys ... I was wondering why and started doing some searches on the net ...

What i found out was quite shocking , while in other places drifter drifted in car parks with cones as obstacles and some drifted on intersections or stretches of old roads (with those deliciously winding curves) in japan the drift on ... shock .. mountain passes .
