When the world was created it was created from the cooling of stellar material which was spewed out from the stars. These material provided the raw material for everything from proteins and other complex molecules ... even living forms. When we really look at it, all lifeform are actually made from 'star-stuff'. We are the universe given form.
There is a bit of the universe in each and every one of us. When you look at life from that point of view it's incredible. You can almost believe that the universe is alive and it is trying to discover the meaning of existence through us (from the Babylon 5 TV series). Makes you feel that you are part of something bigger and that life isn't just random chaos connected by events.
I wonder if the reason we humans are so curious has something to do with a deep seated cosmic-vibration with the universe and it's need to understand itself (yeah, at this point im raving)
Hmm, star stuff. I like the idea of that .
