hi everyone!!! how r u all??? it has been a super duper long time since i set my foot in the blog. A lot of things happen to me, for good and bad ^^. Here is a little bit of updates on me.
I have been quite ok nowadays, just probably back to my old gaming habit. Hhahaha Been playing online games all these while. I m eager waiting for Cabalsea close beta. FYI, Cabalsea is Cabal Online, it's just that the server is hosted by Asiasoft hence the name. And i bet the game would be f2p, just like Maplestory. Cabal is one of the best online game for now, to me at least. I tried the global Cabal online back in 2006 and i really like the game. No news on open beta of the global until now. But heck, i m going to play the SEA version. Cabal online displays one of the best combat skills IMO. No other mmorpg come close, not even RO. As for magical spells, i would prefer Risk Your Life aka RYL, and the spells still look nice albeit it's an old game. I played Holic online also with chubbyfied characters, and the graphic looks very much like Radiata Story. But after lv 25++, quests are scarce, lvlling is very hard. One of the other reason is low spawn rate and laggy server. But overall, it's a cute game, i m very happy with the equipments and hats. Next up, i m waiting for Aion: Tower of Eternity. Looks very Legend of Dragoon -ish. With all the flying and stuffs, just totally my style. ^^
Of late, my latest addition into my gaming world would be Xbox360. I just got one, and currently playing Lost Odyssey. It's a really good game, just the loading time is a bit too much, but it's a lot better than loading time in Magna Carta, i dun get to stare on blank black screen. DMC4 comes next, got the game, but trying to finish Lost Odyssey first. Started Blue Dragon but stop for a while, currently in disc2. Trying to get Eternal Sonata and Enchanted Arms (i know Enchanted Arms may turn a lot of people off, but i kinda attracted to it). Gear of Wars is really nice. I have not tried it but my brother finished it. There will be 2 games from Square Enix for 360; Infinite Undiscovery and Last Remnant. Rumors has it that Star Ocean 4 will be with the Xbox360. For now i m very happy with the selection of games. Mistwalker (Hironobu Sakaguchi moved from Square to Mistwalker) will definitely have a nice games under its sleeves. Just like Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon, and especially in Lost Odyssey, it's really very FF like and the music of course composed by Nobuo are very soothing. Will probably get ps3 when FF13 is out.
On CNY, i reckon that there is now celebration for me this year. My grandma whom i m very close with passed away few days before the date. Kinda spoilt my mood for cny also. aargh.......i just tuck myself away playing games. Period.
On Valentine, hahahah, i m celebrating with me and myself. nothing much to mention. just went to some shops looking at the decoration and valentine gifts, and the price scares me off my butt. scareeeeeeeeeeeeee.
On my work, it's been pretty boring lately. We have never had any new year direction yet. It's like the lab is non-existence at all. i m planning to move to other place. Been sending out resumes and now waiting for interview in March. hahahaha. and on my master degree, i have dropped my intention, just like the things i explained to you guys last year. same reason + new reason to my new plan. wish me luck.

Hey Adole!! You know I've been wondering, how is Blue Dragon? Is it complete shit or good?
Haven't been able to find a copy of Enchanted Arms but since its a Square game I'm sure it'll be good. Right now its DMC4 obsession time.
Man these bloody MMORPGs really suck up your bloody life. I still play WoW and while I'm a gamer at heart, I've never spent as much time gaming as I do now. Its not so much an addiction but 3 things.
1. I pay a monthly fee so if I don't play I feel like I'm wasting money.
2. Once I start playing I don't notice the time go by and suddenly 3 hours have passed (never happens with consoles)/
3. Since other people are grouping with you a lot its a bit of pressure to not bail on them
With that in mind I decided to cancel my WoW subscription to focus on other things :) probably will sign up again in 2-3 months.
Hope you dont get the 3RRoD for your 360, mine got hit, cost me RM250 to fix.

If u like DQ8 on ps2, u will probably like Blue Dragon. I dun quite like the cartoonish style but the graphic is really nice, soemtime i cant even differenciate between cutscenes and cgs. The story is quite good. Try Lost Odyssey, very emo one. T.T Sakaguchi planed a game titled Cry On and he claimed that players will cry every 15 min, i wonder if he is exaggerating......lol
is KoF:CoD good? reviews arent too good. i saw the trailer and it's quite ok for me.
I bought Enchanted Arm for my fren in kl last time, but jap version. yeah, couldnot find a copy either, same with Eternal Sonata. I would probably get ori Eternal Sonata but not Enchanted Arm, i heard it was not that good, but i kinda like it. lol. once i finished my LO, i will get into DMC4, if Eternal Sonata is still unavailable. i ask the shop to get a copy for me (ciplak one of coz) and he said might be some shipment by today.
hell yeah, MMORPGs are really life sucking. i still remember the first time i had streamyx and at that time i was playing RO and RYL, darn......i swear i played like 3 hours but in fact, the sun had set. Hunger is no longer in my dictionary. but now i cant really play game that long anymore, seems like age is catching up, i feel like puking if i played more than 2 hours.
I hope i dun get RRoD >.< i got the Falcon version and my fan (big big fan) is constantly facing to my consoles whenever i m playing. plus i let it cool down (dashboard) for 10-15 mins before shutting down. so is it true we can only repair for 3 times?

I got Eternal Sonata, but not sure if its any good since I only played the tutorial.
I think I'll skip LO for now, I'm still reeling from the .hack//G.U. conclusion, can't handle more emo stuff.
KuF:CoD is like Dynasty Warriors instead of the last 2 strategy style games. Its good, the reviewers always bash repetitive play. Speaking of which waiting eagerly for the next Dynasty Warriors, then I can play Cao Cao again, Wei fucking rules man!!!!
Truth is with MMOs, they suck up a load of time, and while they're not bad, I have never got that sense of satisfaction I do when playing any console games. Its almost starting to feel like a second job. I think its time to give it up at least for awhile :(
No you can fix it more that 3 times, although depends on what's wrong with it I guess. The 3 ring is just a reference to the lights on the system to indicate general hardware failure.
Don't worry too much about it. Just play. If you got the black one its fine. The first release models are unstable, might break in a day or two or in a few months. You can't really do anything about it, its bad design.
I am now waiting for my brother to come back in May, then can get PS3 and play Lair and Heavenly Sword.

i did not get the black one, but was released at the same date, after november 2007 with certain lot number. i even check the motherboard. i m not too sure about the noise of the fan, but it is still tolerable. i got the benq drive, and i cant p[lay some of the older ciplak games. dunno y, they say it's burned in a different format, blah blah blah. but i can play original older games just fine. but thank goodness, i can play home burned games great also, lol. i tried panzer dragoon orta also and it can launch.
i nearly finsihed my LO, probably in less than 10 hours provided that i dun do all the sidequest and just take the really good one. Magnus, if u r accustomed to Mass Effect loading times, then u should be really fine with LO loading time.
i just watched the alone in the dark 5 tech demo and i m really really impressed!!!! i wanted to play that game for sure, though i have not palyed the other 4 >.<
i played 99 nights (N3), been liking this game since last time. i m just like killing ants. mwhahahah, i felt really powerful.
i m playing cabal online real soon, lol. bz time for me ^^
