Happy Chinese New Year and happy hoilidays to all!
Just finished .hack//GU/rebirth. Excelent game. Haseo's like one of my favourite game persona ever. He's just insane. Especially when he summons his avatar. Especially the first time. It's here, it's HERE, IT'S HEREEEE!!!! Kinda reminds me of... ME! Mwahahahaha! Anyway, for those who have played, which weapon you prefer, dual-blades(rapid or hold) or broad sword(rapid or hold)? Opinions on skill? I'm very bias towards TWIN MOONS. Owned Cervates with it after being PKed by him 3 times. Grrrrr! Oh yeah, technical question. What does curse do anyway? Tempted to play online games now. Cant wait for the sequel. Moving on to rogue galaxy first.
So warlock, where you at in prince of tennis. I'm all the way at the final regional match already. Anyone else found the chibi filler episodes insanely hilarious? Ha ha ha!
Saw Ghost rider already. Was kinda disapointed. The fight scenes were rather lame. Not to mention the fact that I keep thinking of tales from the crypt every time skeleton dude appears. Heh heh! Uh, oh... we are Leeeeagian, for we are maaaaaany. ;p |

Ah my favourite parts of the game mostly involve Skeith, the Skeith vs Magus ones were the best, so emo.
I prefer the dual blades, just wish I could get those buzz-saw one he uses in the movie where he PKKs the PKers at the start. I use the Ripper Blades now which are rapid attacks but I get tired of pressing the buttong that much. I think press and hold for dual blades is the coolest. Tri Strike is the way to go, though Sword dance looks pretty cool.
For Broad Sword I use Broad Wings which is the most powerful and a press and hold weapon, though I like rapid attacks more (the first blade he gets after doing the job upgrade) Screw Twin Moons, Bone Crusher.
Cervantes is not that hard, its just because we wind up accepting the Bounty Quest so early and he's the first blacklister (killed me 3 times too I started running after that).
Did you fight the doppelganger yet? He's damn near unkillable unless you've got the best equipment.

Yeah, dual blades hold and press is the coolest. Very samurai like. Heh heh! Haven't fought the doppleganger. Seems like lots of hassle just to find him. Didn't finish any of the sidequests either. Didn't seem like there was any problem wathing the end cutscene and vol 2 preview. What exactly went wrong with yours?

The doppleganger is easy to find. Go to any field (grass and water) and just do nothing for 10 minutes (don't touch the controller) and then just run around the map, you'll find a red mist thing that turns into a copy of Haseo, there'll be a message and everything so you can't miss it. He's always 8 levels higher than you.
I didn't have a problem with the last movie and the preview of Vol.2. The movie that kept hanging was the first movie where he fights Tri-Edge in the Cathedral. Go online and see the Vol.2 movie, its really cool (not the same preview from the Vol.1 movie list).
How could you not finish the sidequests!!! all those lovely stat boosts!! The final quest where you fight Cerrunos is pretty cool though.
I just want Vol.2 to come out soon because I want to use the Flick Scythe.

Oh, I see. Time to go pick on the doppleganger then. Heh heh!
The sidequests real boring. I mean hunting animals, mecha grunty, passing flyers... argh! Finished the cerrunos one though. That was good. Heh!
Btw, what does 'curse' do anyway?

Curse does SP damage like poison damages HP.
I like the quests, but not those super boring sidequests (I'm still missing one person for the flyer quest.
