When I start talking about half life 2 episode one. Siriuz had mistaken it as it is a tv series or something like that (Siriuz is crazy about tv series in case you didn't know). So I better post the game info here. Don't worry, no spoiler here.
The story continues.... Half-Life 2: Episode One is the first in a series of new adventures created by Valve that extend the Half-Life 2 single player experience. It details the aftermath of Half Life 2 and launches a journey beyond City 17. Stepping into the hazard suit of Dr.Gordon you face the immediate repercussions of your actions in City 17 and the Citadel. Rejoin Alyx Vance and her robot, Dog, to once again aid the human resistance in their desperate battle the totalitarian alien menace of the Combine. Episode One exposes Alyx's combat skills and knowledge of City 17. Battle side-by-side with her through Valve's first episodic game, a four-to-six hour adventure of greater density and detail than non-episodic releases.
There is a new adventure game that come out which is call the Barrow Hill (somehow remind me of Silent Hill). Here is the game info:
Somewhere deep within the woods a timeless force is stirring. Beneath the ancient burial mound, known locally as Barrow Hill, a forgotten myth awakes. Join the adventure, and uncover the secrets of the past. The legends of the Cornish world will live again; renewed, refreshed and hungry. Time has no meaning, as the sun sets low across the landscape. Stranded on the lonely road, which leads up to the Barrow, you must make your way through the trees, and darkening landscape, and out onto the Barrow itself. Following in the footsteps of the well-known archaeologist, Conrad Morse, you will discover that the barrow is more than just a mound of earth and a collection of forgotten standing stones. However, not all archaeology is constructive, for some things should be left buried and undisturbed. Perhaps it is too late for that...
The story happen in Cornwall which suppose describe detail in the book call "REBECCA" written by Daphne du Maurier (1907—1990). Even if you never read the book and know nothing about Cornwall. The game will still fine for u. |
