Ghost On The Road ... |
Just came back from 7-11 in my taman. I forgot to switch on the lights on the car when I was driving back ... :p . I wonder if anyone got the shock of their life when I overtook them .. Shit man, that was like that episode in Initial D where the hero had to overtake his opponent but with the headlights off so he can't block his line. He...he.. Must remember to switch on headlights next time :P ... at least it was just within the taman (residential area .. not Lake Garden) very dangerous :( |

I love Mamula Moon ! |
He..he ... Listened to it six times allready today ! :)
James sucks ... he is standing over my shoulder .. looking at the monitor ... sigh .. weirdo . Luckily for me he isn't some gay bugger drooling at me (looks behind and checks ... phew)
Ok now that he has left I am free to write again ...
Where was I ....
oh yeah .. Mamula moon .
I was so piqued by the fact that the song is exactly the same as our beloved Negaraku that I did some background check ...
It seems the Negaraku was NOT taken from Mamula Moon , not exactly ... it's taken from a popular song called Terang Bulan which was very popular at the time in Indonesia, Tanah Melayu and Singapura ( you can download the song from http://blog.menj.org/index.php/2005/09/19/terang-bulan/ , the direct link is : http://blog.menj.org/wp-content/terang_bulan.zip ) of course if you listen to it you'll notice that both songs have a lot of similarities. In my opinion , Terang Bulan was either copied or inspired by Mamula Moon.
The origin of our national anthemn is directly linked to the State Anthem Of Perak. The song Terang Bulan was first used as the state anthem of Perak ! During the coronation of Queen Victoria (1888), Sultan Idris visited England. When he arrived there his aide-de-camp was asked to produce the state anthem as protocol required that the state anthem be played when the Sultan walks into the coronation hall. The aide-de-camp, the quick witted Raja Mansur realised that it would be an embarrasment to admit that there WASN'T a national anthem. He told the representative of the Queen that in the hurry to pack they forgot to bring along the sheet notes for the anthem but he said if he could get a few minutes with a musician he should be able to produce it. He whistled the tune for Terang Bulan which was very popular amongst the Perak people and for the first time in England, when the Sultan walked into the coronation room, Terang Bulan was played as Perak's State Anthem ...
Interesting . Smart guy :)

On a different note , finished watching the First Season Of Babylon 5 , brings back old memories when Babylon 5 was THE thing to talk about in school . Every Thursdays the staircase gang (James, Me , The-Great-Evil-Dark-Lord Navin and sometimes Ram) would discuss it on our usual morning lepak place , The Throne Of The World. Damn, I miss the good old days when our only worry was if we could sneak into the computer room for a solid few hours of gaming (we are well connected people in school :P).
Miss all of you from St Paul's (and the entire La Salle convention people) _______________________________________________________________
Watched Swing Girls last weekend , totally got me hooked on Jazz again ... looking for my Nat 'King' MP3s now .... Highly recommended movie . Japanese movie about a bunch of girls falling in love with music and starting their own 'Big Band' jazz group .. one really nice movie. I wish people will make more like this ... The movie is by Shinobu Yaguchi and uses his standard formula (think Waterboys) , really entertaining (yeah, I know I am raving about this movie.. but IT IS REALLY GOOD !). The actors actually perform the music themselves and they really rock at it ! Classics like Take The A Train , Coming Through The Rye, Make Her Mine and such was played with full feeling ... ah made me want to dance :) (fortunately that disaster was averted)
Now go and find the movie ... if you can't contact me , i'll figure out something :)
Oh yeah , the reason for the long post today :
I'm taking a day or two off from blogging .. Deepavali preparations.
Love ya all ,
Carpe diem ! |

Mamula Moon |
Did you know that that the Malaysian national anthem 'Negaraku' was taken and modified from a hawaiian-ish song called Mamula Moon by Felix Mendelssohn & His Hawaiian Serenaders ... aiyo .. the national anthem is also copied ar ! I tought Proton was bad enough ... sigh ... I wonder why no one had suggested anything to salvage the situation , like totally coming up with a NEW song ...
(Here you can get the song courtesy of paul ooi ... http://video.paulooi.com/Mamula_Moon.zip , oh yeah don't forget to delete it after listening to it .. it's illegal to download mp3's without permission .. (snigger) )
Oh yeah , here is something I got off the net :
Love Installation by: Author Unknown, Source Unknown
A step by step guide to installing love on the human machine.
Customer: I can do that. I'm not very technical, but I think I am ready to install now. What do I do first?
Tech Support: The first step is to open your HEART. Have you located your HEART ma'am?
Customer: Yes I have, but there are several programs running right now. Is it okay to install while they are running?
Tech Support: What programs are running ma'am?Customer: Let me see... I have PASTHURT.EXE, LOWESTEEM.EXE, GRUDGE.EXE, and RESENTMENT.COM running right now.Tech Support: No problem. LOVE will automatically erase PASTHURT.EXE from your current operating system. It may remain in your permanent memory, but it will no longer disrupt other programs. LOVE will eventually overwrite LOWESTEEM.EXE with a module of its own called HIGHESTEEM.EXE However, you have to completely turn off GRUDGE.EXE and RESENTMENT.COM. Those programs prevent LOVE from being properly installed. Can you turn those off ma'am?
Customer: I don't know how to turn them off. Can you tell me how?
Tech Support: My pleasure. Go to your Start menu and invoke FORGIVENESS.EXE. Do this as many times as necessary until GRUDGE.EXE and RESENTMENT.COM have been completely erased.
Customer: Okay, I'm done. LOVE has started installing itself automatically. Is that normal?
Tech Support: Yes it is. You should receive a message that says it will reinstall for the life of your HEART. Do you see that message?
Customer: Yes I do. Is it completely installed?
Tech Support: Yes, but remember that you have only the base program. You need to begin connecting to other HEARTS in order to get the upgrades.
Customer: Oops...I have an error message already. What should I do?Tech Support: What does the message say?
Customer: It says "ERROR 412 - PROGRAM NOT RUN ON INTERNAL COMPONENTS". What does that mean?
Tech Support: Don't worry ma'am, that's a common problem. It means that the LOVE program is set up to run on external HEARTS but has not yet been run on your HEART. It is one of those complicated programming things, but in non-technical terms it means - "you have to 'LOVE' your own machine before it can "LOVE" others."
Customer: So what should I do?
Tech Support: Can you find the directory called "SELF-ACCEPTANCE"?
Customer: Yes, I have it.Tech Support: Excellent, you are getting good at this.Customer: Thank you.
Tech Support : You're welcome. Click on the following files and then copy them to the "MYHEART" directory: FORGIVESELF.DOC, SELFESTEEM.TXT, REALIZEWORTH.TXT, and GOODNESS.DOC. The system will overwrite any conflicting files and begin patching any faulty programming. Also, you need to delete SELFCRITIC.EXE from all directories, and then empty your recycle bin afterwards to make sure it is completely gone and never comes back.
Customer: Got it. Hey! My HEART is filling up with really neat files. SMILE.MPG is playing on my monitor right now and it shows that WARMTH.COM, PEACE.EXE, and CONTENTMENT.COM are copying themselves all over my HEART!
Tech Support: Then LOVE is installed and running. You should be able to handle it from here. One more thing before I go
Customer: Yes?
Tech Support: LOVE is freeware. Be sure to give it and its various modules to everybody you meet. They will in turn share it with other people and they will return some really neat modules back to you.
Customer: I will. Thank you for your help

Pirates !! Arrr Matey .. |
" Mari-mari , beli ini CD , sangat clear punya ! Garenti baik punya ! " said the pirated CD seller as he peddled out his pirated CD/DVD/VCDs. The throngs of people surrounding the stall, some idly browsing some allready in the process of haggling the price, are normal ordinary Malaysians. Malaysians who are buying pirated goods.
Ask any of them and they probably won't admit to commiting a crime. The more honest ones will probably just shrug and give a guilty smile. Why do they do it ?
Lets look at the pricing of Lord Of The Rings : Fellowship of The Ring - RM 200 (extended version). Now if we assume that the price for all three movies is the same we get a grand total of RM 600 ... good god that is almost enough to buy an electric guitar or 3 soundblaster 2 Audigy cards or 75 'Magic: The Gathering' booster pack ..... (Averages to Rm 100 / DVD )
Compare the price that DVD pirates sell it at : Rm 50 O_0 (Averages to Rm 8/DVD)
The original is 12x the price of the pirated DVD ! Scary huh ...... guess I won't really blame people for buying pirated stuff ... the price is simply too high.
How do these pirates manage to sell their DVDs for so low a price ? Probably because they dont pay the copyrights and the quality of their production is low ... but still ... 12 x ... :(
I have heard from some people that the actual cost of producing a DVD is actually very low since they are mass produced. My theory is that the price of original DVD are very high for the simple purpose of getting more cash out of consumers. Maybe they should start considering a price reduction to compete with the pirates. Maybe they might do that ... yeah and maybe pigs will fly . |

Problems With The Blog |
Due to problems with the blog , no new post for at least 2 days ... working on it . Sorry |

Can't think of a nice title :P |
Pretty mundane day today as usual. Keep on forgetting to go jogging (it was raining today though). Eh , if like this I am never ever gonna get fitter and bigger than daddy , then I can't wrestle with him and will be bullied :P Hmm, judging by the picture though I think I have an extremely long long way to go before winning a wretling match .. maybe if I sabotage his food ... Well , finally Book 11 of the Wheel Of Time is out ... waiting for the paperback version to come out. Hope I can survive the wait .... Hmm. must go back and work my way through books 1 to 10 first .... If you haven't read Robert Jordan's "The Wheel Of Time" series here is the lowdown. It's a 12 book epic-fantasy series. What sets this book apart from the rest is the authors penchant for extremely complex and interweaving storyline .. something that happened in Book 3 and didn't seen to be that important can suddenly become an important plot key in Book 7 ... scary. The story seems soooo complex that I am personally not sure if Robert Jordan can finish the story by book 12. Well, he promised to finish it by book 12 even if it has to be a 1 200 page book :P (his books averages around 550 - 700 pages each) so that is a relief. (If you wanna know more about the series : http://www.tor.com/jordan/) Can't wait to get my damn paws on the book ... drool ... drool . I wish Malaysia has more incentives that reduce the price of books. A survey that I read on the newspapers a few years back said that on average Malaysian's read 4 pages a month ! (not including text books and magazines). I have to say that it is high time that the government subsidise books, at least for students. Students should get a special card that allows them to buy books at cheap cheap prices (drool ... ) , that would be soooo cool ... and it'll save me a small fortune everytime I get buy story books. I generally get my story books second hand, I find PayLess Books to be very good for this but the problem with them is that all the nice books are normally snapped up. The people there are quite friendly, I sent an e-mail once to request some books and they actually found the books and offered to mail it to me .. (if by some weird chance the management of Payless books get to read this, thanks a lot !). Of course being the impatient animal that I am , I had earlier went to their stores and managed to find the books before they replied :P . Can't wait for this weekend .. wanna go to the newly opened shopping mall in Seremban ... heard there is a MPH bookstore there .. yummy . Take care ya' all ... -Dinesh |

Drifting |
Drifting is so cool . I wish I could do it , too bad I don't have a car of my own. :( Wanna learn to drift .... but my dad will probably kill me if I do it with his car :P .... I am so captivated by the beauty of a car skidding into a full 4-WD inertial drift . It's something totally out of this world. It's every car enthusiast' dream .. to be able to control your car like your very own hands and legs. To make the car dance as you want it to ... to dance the ballet of inertia , no regards for traction or even the friction coefficient of the road . Sigh .. the beauty , the art. (Yes I know , I am just raving ..... read the blog title ) Here are some details on drifting :
See it says : Drifting is popular ... (http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/2003/Apr/04/sp/sp25a.html)
It became very famous in Japan and recently started gaining popularity in the States and other places (like M'sia :P). Of course the best drifters are still Japanese guys ... I was wondering why and started doing some searches on the net ...
What i found out was quite shocking , while in other places drifter drifted in car parks with cones as obstacles and some drifted on intersections or stretches of old roads (with those deliciously winding curves) in japan the drift on ... shock .. mountain passes . Here is a pic of mount Irohazaka , a popular drifting spot in Japan :
This is the mountain pass of Irohazaka, notice that at some corners the guardrails don't extend all the way to the corner. Some guys actually jump their cars to overtake the leading car ..that is like the only way to overtake on this narrow course at the later parts !!!
Now i know why the Japanese are so good at drifting .. the bad ones are probably kinda dead allready. :p I can't imagine tackling this two consecutive corners at 70km/h for the first corner and 50 for the next one. Scary ...
Until next time ...

Cosmos |
Watched an episode of an old documentary called COSMOS. It's very interesting and was hosted by Carl Sagan himself ( bow and worship .. ). In the episode that I watched about he was talking about the galaxy and the advances in sciences that will allow us to chart the far reaches of space. I found out the origin of the name 'Milky Way' for out galaxy .. It's from a Greek myth which in which that the stars are supposedly droplets of milk thrown into the sky when she breast-fed herakles ( http://www.greecetravel.com/greekmyths/argos6.htm - here go read it yourself) ... and thus Milky Way. Yecccch ... Had supper with Douglas, Shu San, Poh Chu and Ho/Sai/BakaSan. Talked the usual politics .. started 'Najib' bashing. Personally I don't have too much confidence when it comes to his leadership capabilities. I shudder to think what will happen if he ends up being the next prime minister of Malaysia. He is one creepy dude. Next on the topic was Malaysian cars, we were whinig , moaning and bitching about the price of Malaysian made cars, how the export models are NICER and CHEAPER than the version offered in Malaysia. Seems to me a NATIONAL CAR shouldn't be about letting a bunch of people in Proton make more money and should be about giving access to cheaper cars to the rakyat. (Instead they artificially keep the price up and force the prices of other cars to astronomic heights, leaving us with no choice ... sigh). Well enuff gripes, it's not gonna change anything. Proton is going to keep on coming with low quality cars at comparatively high prices no matter what I say :( .. maybe if you guys vote me to become the next Prime Minister then I can make things better :) . Failing that you can also donate toys, books and stuff to me ... at the very least you'll make me feel better :D and that is making the world a better day. Well look at the bright side at least we have Pak Lah for our PM , he seems to be doing some good to the country. Love his entire transparency policy and his non-involvement in important political cases (Rafidah Aziz and Isa) ... Yeah Pak Lah rocks ! [Dinesh/Warlock - Gimme gimme gimme .. gulp ... snore ] |

I'n back |
Hello all. Just came back from Seremban.
Had a nice weekend. Met up with the Form 6 gang. Sudha1, Sudha2, Shanker, Sangee and Kiru. When Sangee introduced Kiru to me and told me that she still remembers me I was really blur ... only later did I remember her as one of the 'one week' form Sixer in St Paul's (thanks Sudha). This is actually bad since I didn't remember her as soon as I first saw her ... guess I won't be able to use the ' I never forget a pretty face' line and not be a hypocrite huh :P
Oh yeah, met up with Luko (or leuko not sure which ). He's Sangee's new pet doggie and he is sooooo cute. If I wasn't afraid of freaking out her parents I might offer to take him out for walks in the weekends.
Didn't get to fire up the tobacco leaves , not dry enough .. ah well , never really a big fan of smoking.
Ok that is all for tonight . Sorry for the dry content .. will think of something interesting to write about tommorow ok .. have a touch of flu :(

Demystifying Siriuz |
Can't think of anything original to write today so guess I'll just demystify Siriuz's post (http://cocobear80.blogspot.com/2005/10/acids-for-breakfast.html) so that you can stop scratching your head.
Its raining acid again. But this is in the morning this time though. Warlock said it was cold. Strange, must the anti-bacterial shower he took. Silly man. The shower is meant to be taken after you come back from the Outside. I am going solo for the mission this morning. The grey transport is being used for an extended mission by Sai after our routine stops. So, that to ensure a efficient use of manpower I have to take my own tranport.
[Yeah, pretty rainy today ... wanted to just pull up the comforter and sleep on and on. Gray transport = Sai's grey Toyota . He is using the car to go somewhere after going to UKM , so Siriuz needs to drive his car as well this morning. ]
Damn, the rain was still pouring when it came time to set off. The grey transport was occupying the main transport bay, so my vehicle had be deposited off-site. So, I activated Limited Climate Protective Shielding and made a dash for it.
[Sai's car was parked in front of the house, Siriuz's was outside. Limited Climate Protective Shielding = Umbrella :p ]
I turned around to see Warlock wading around in only a makeshift protective suit trying to close the main bay gates. Idiot, doesn't he realize how flimsy the suit was?
[Since it was raining , I went to open the gates for the car to come out. I draped my PVC jacket over my head. It was good PVC ... wasn't flimsy ]
No sooner had I gotten in the car... er I mean transport, when I saw the grey transport attemping to signal me. Oops, I had left my hand-held comunicator off. Turn outs, there was going to a slight change in todays route.
[ I tried to call him since we had a change in plans for breakfast , so I called him to find out the his phone was switched off.. what followed was some frantic gesticulation, hand waving and quasi-morse signal to ask him to switch his phone on. We finally decided to go have Pan Mee for breakfast near UKM (best pan mee i've ever tasted, near Honda at the UKM commuter station .. yum yum) ]
I hate going out when the acid is still pouring. But, I had things to do. Besides I needed to get a fresh supply of water. The water reserves at base camp was running low. I think maybe I will cut todays mission a little short and return a little earlier to run over a few simulations.
[He ran out of clean drinking water .. being too lazy to boil water he just wanted to go to his lab/office in UKM to fill up his water bottle ... he decided to go back earlier to watch some chinese dramas.]
Amazing how you can make a mundane day sound so sci-fi huh .

The Myth |
No VIVO :( ... uwaaaaaa . Never mind, finally got my sound card. Audigy 2 Value only but finally can enjoy my 5.1 speakers after months of buying them :) , looks like my PS2 has some tough competition ...
Watched 'The Myth' today. Typical story with holes in it like lettuce after a locust swarm attack but Jackie Chan does what he does best , entertain. Of course the two extremly babelicious babes were like icing on the cake (who cares if their acting was a bit 'kayu' .. it's the drool factor that counts :P~~~ < --- Me drooling) . Mallika Sherawat was soooo hot and Kim Hee-Sun was sooo sweet and cute .. awwwww. I was sooo happy after watching the movie, comfortable in the knowledge that there is such beauty in the world ( Similar effects to IITH , Irene Induced Temporary High) until it happened. I can no longer say with certainty wheather I will ever be able to put away the trauma and smile again .. I shudder down to my very soul at the tought of THE INCIDENT.
Psychologist have always encouraged people to share their traumatic moments with other people to help in the healing process. and so with great reluctance my dear readers, I shall share with you the tale of PURE UNADULTRATED HORROR that has scarred me to my very soul. Here I was, happily trying to cram in my new sound card into my computer, my heart gladdened and a happy tune in my head. I was thinking to myself about how great life is. Suddenly, just within the limits of my sights ,I saw a shadow flitting around. A terrible dread cluched at my chest as I instinctively focused my sight on the shadow.....
... it was Siriuz.....
....it was Siriuz .. without pants.
Covered only by his shirt (and hopefully underwear underneath it) he sprang into the bathroom with such force that the wind rushing in to fill in the sudden vacuum knocked me off my feet. Perhaps in his rush to go to the bathroom and cleanse himself of the dust of travels he forgot that he has removed his jeans ... thus I was faced with the dreaded spectacle of Siriuz as he decided to prance around half naked on his journey from his room to the bathroom. At the mere glimplse of Siriuz in his semi-nude state , my mind crumbled .. it's allready tenuous hold on reality was ripped asunder. But i survived . I SURVIVED . For I am strong ... and I wasn't wearing my glasses. Gone were the sweet memories left behind by both Mallika Sherawat and Kim Hee-Sun , their sweet smile forever mingled in my memory with the sight of a half-naked Siriuz moving into the bathroom .... ; ___ ; .
Slowly my mind reeled from the shock. My various schitzoid personalities reemerging from the remains of it's destruction like the the T-1000 in Terminator 2. All I know was that I HAVE SURVIVED but the experience has left a deep metal trauma and we may never know how this will manifest.
(Wears Hockey Mask and picks up chainsaw as music from Psycho start to play)
Now I must go to sleep and hope that the scary memories will not plague me ; ___ ;
Good night, at least for all of you.

Hobbits really exists... |
Some doctor from Australia has discovered some hobbit sized bones in a remote Indonesia Island called Flores.
The partial skeleton discovered in a limestone cave on the remote Indonesian island of Flores in 2003 was of a tiny adult hominid, or early human, only one meter (3 feet tall), that would have walked upright and had a chimpanzee-sized brain.
More skeletons have since been uncovered suggesting that it was not a random freak of nature.
I wonder if they will elves next.
[Warlock - Dude , gimme the link .. i gotta read this with my own eyes .. And get around to watching Lord Of The Ring again , gotta study up on history :) ] |

Just another Wednesday |
Pretty mundane day today (well should be yesterday since it's 1 AM when i am writing this) .... went to lab , cultured some bacterial, pampered my cloned plants and ended playing seven games of Magic with Chia back to back . Lost all 7 matches ; ___ ; , I've created a monster ... I wonder if I had a chance to go back in time and rethink my decision to coach him in Magic would I have done things differently ? Naaah .. I like the challange. Plus he isn't half as evil as Siriuz and his "Snakes gonna chop off your ballz" deck.
Tommorow (well technically today, since it's 1 am) I'll be going to Low Yat to get my sound card and hopefully my damn VIVO adapter ... I'm dying to plug in my TV into my computer ... think of all the things I can do .. drool .... drool .. We should be watching The Myth also (We as in Siriuz, Sai and me .. the SanBaka) we'll see if we can drag the ChosenOne (vj) along , everytime we go out with this fella we'll end up with crazy sweet deals .. I think there is some evil conspiracy going on with him and the people in Low Yat ... hmmm.. needs some tot on that.
Well pasar malam today was pretty mundane , met Shu San there though ... the guys seems happy 24-7 .. envy him. Got leng lui, become like that lar ... sigh ... (oops .. your secret is out wor .. )
Yeah ! VIVO adapter here I come ...
Gnite everybody... |

I hate Mondays |
Ehhh.. finally managed to crawl off my bed and sit in front of the computer .. I hate Mondays . I absolutely hate bloody Mondays. I hate Mondays sooooo bad that they it spoils my Sunday as well .. Sigh . At least at the time that I am writing this it's no longer bloody Monday. I wish that scientist will hurry up and invent a cryo-tube or something so that I can freeze my self on Sunday night and sleep through Monday. [Of course then I would hate Tuesdays ... but that is not the point here .. the point is I HATE MONDAYS !!!]
Sigh
I hate Mondays.
UKM sucks ...
Why are they so very few open minded interesting people there. It's been pretty dull for me ever since Irene graduated and left ; ___ ; , no more interesting conversations and insights into the mind of females (Yes Irene, I was actually listening to what you said and not just staring into your eyes, gaping and gawking though there was a lot of that) But seriously though, I have always thought that university would be a cool place where I'll meet tons of cool individuals and do really-really cool things. Imagine my dismay and surprise when I got into UKM to find that people here are really , really , really boring with the exception of a precious few who makes life in UKM and my lab bearable .. Thanks you all .. You've kept me in a relatively sane mind-set. Thankfully guns are not easily available in Malaysia ... sometimes I can honestly imagine myself shooting some of the more boring people who always seem to equate fun with evil. Imagine playing Magic : The Gathering with a friend and someone passes by and says " Main judi ke ? Tak baik tau" It's moments like this that I feel like ripping the person another one (go figure) .... I'm one sad person in one sad uni leading one sad life ... I miss all my friends that used to cheer me up and now have left uni to work.

Excerpt from Newsweek. |
To give an idea of the idiots running Indonesia, here a little excerpt from Newsweek on the incident:
**The latest attack was the fourth in three years. Its probable authors, the terrorist group Jemaah Islamiah, will strike again, despite the efforts of some serious Indonesian investigators. That's hard to accept. As I rode in a cab through central Jakarta with my Indonesian assistant, Natasha Tampubolon, we talked about the 2002 Bali bombers, now on death row. I blurted out, "Have they executed those a--holes yet?" For the next hour, Nur Wahid, the respected speaker of Indonesia's People's Consultative Assembly, told me there's no evidence that Jemaah Islamiah carried out any of Indonesia's terrorist attacks. The army, or a foreign government, could be to blame, he said. Another Indonesian politician reportedly said an unnamed country in the region, jealous of Bali's tourism industry, directed the attack. Fazan al-Ansari, spokesman for the Mujaheddin Council of Indonesia, a group of radical preachers, told me that Jews and Westerners carried out every terrorist act for the last four years in order to smear Islam. "It's true," he said.** |

Last Post for Weekend |
Car couldn't start today... left the lights on overnight. Had two of friends push the car to jump start it. Didn't work. Sent for mechanic. sigh... money flown away...
Elsewhere, the Bali bombings continue to stir up trouble. Well, thats one LESS tourist spot in southeast asia. Really though, the Indonesian have no one blame but themselves, but if you want to stay underdeveloped, thats really your business.
***of course, none of this REALLY happened, since the world was eaten by martian mushrooms but, an active imagination can always cook up some drama to make insanity more interesting.***
[ Warlock : Guess who one of the 'two friends' who pushed his car was ? ;__; ] |

Cross eyed fun for the family |
Sterograms are cool ! I've been viewing them for the whole day today .. of course they tend to make me a bit cross eyed and dizzy at times. I've never found any hidden sterograms in public yet but I've heard that they are actually quite common, so the next time you see a poster with random dots hanging at your dentist office give it your best wide eyed, squinting, "my eyes are gonna pop out" stare and you just might be surprised at what might leap out at you.
Don't know what sterograms are ? You're kidding me right ? Where have you been all this time ? Siriuz is forgiven for not knowing, he's been too busy running away from man-eating mushrooms from Mars. If he had taken the time to stare at every clump of random dots he would have been eaten allready. Of course, if he had stopped to stare at the man-eating mushrooms he would have noticed that the random dots on them are actually a sterogram (he..he.. i can actually imagine him squinting at the mushrooms as they gleefully catch him and toss him into a boiling cauldron .. sweet)
Well here's what a website says about sterograms :
"Stereograms are images that at first appear no more than random patterns or dots. When you relax your eyes and stare at the images for a while, 3D images appear. "
Give it a try you'll enjoy it (and at least I won't be the only guy walking around cross eyed and bumping into everything with dots for textures).
Here's a good site that teaches you how to look at sterograms : http://www.digitalimagenorth.com/galbott.htm
.... and here is a small sample, it has two dolphins jumping out of water (couldn't find any sterograms with mushrooms in it so couldn't freak Siriuz out. )
Until the next post , have fun ! Carpe diem baby ..

Toothpaste |
Woke up feeling sick and grumpy .... went to the bathroom and started brushing away. Ignored the strange taste in my mouth. After noticing that my mouth was foaming up like a washing machine on overdrive I forced myself to open my eyes slightly ... shudder .. I've been using my Clean & Clear facial wash for toothpaste ... yuch.
Bad day for me today ;__; Sigh ....

Abortion reduces crime? |
I just read that a book called Freakonomics says abortions reduces crime. Since the aborted children would have most likely grown up in single parent or poor living conditions, the chances of said child becoming a productive member of society is rather low.
This would have been interesting, of course, if alien mushrooms haven't eaten everybody.

You don't exist. |
None of you are real. You are all figments of a warped mind desperately clinging to the last straws of normality just before the gaping chasm from all things unspeakable spawn swallows it like a sort of...
...what was I going on about again? Oh, yes! You don't exist! But you amuse me, so I indulge you.. or me, since you are all just figments my imagination anyway.
Hmm... I wonder if my boiling cauldron of a mind can cook up some virgins this time...

(Warlock : I hope you weren't literal about 'cooking' the virgins. Talk about weird 'appetites' :p ) |
